New RS policy

The German HTML-files Louis375 provided were a big help.

Using German HTML is the main change.
There are a few minor changes, it's all in the readme.txt

I don't see a major problem ...

I got the hang of it by having as many premium accounts as blocks of 50GB you want to have online forever ...

I've been told that RS is now **** a complete download to change the counter/download date.
In former times only a few kb/Mb were enough. I just tested it and it seems to be true: only a complete download changes the timestamp.

Can anybody else verify that?

Half an hour after posting this I checked again. Now the timestamp on the last download had changed.
So I did some more experiments.
A full downloads works, but it takes RS a few minutes to show the result.
A partial download sometimes works, but I still do not know what triggers the timestamp.

I waited until now to answer, cause i was still hoping, but nothing has changed.
I picked a few files on sunday, downloaded them partially from within an account, then used another account to download, nothing worked.
For me it seems only full downloads change the timestamp.

When a file has not been downloaded for 3 long months by ANYONE, there's no demand for it anymore anyway so I don't see what the problem is!

The fact that one can't use collectors account-rapidshare points to get free 30 day premium account is more upsetting!
We should start a pettition

I got some good files, but not for the masses Posted on a board almost safe from deletion but with lower traffic. imho it's worth keeping rare files online.
Hopefully RS changes policy, when they notice that there are no files left They just want to clean their servers.
