This one is still working like a charm.

Code:
dead link

The message is gone from my premium page too, but the rule stays. I guess it's really no big deal downloading 100Kb of every file i have once every 3 months/90 days. It only takes like 20min. The thing that really pisses me off is the blatent A-holeism of the Rapidshare management. It really is unforgivable.

Have you switched to detail view? i guess this was necessary.

Yes, I used the detail view. I copied the website of my rs-acoount (see screenshot below) to the folder that contains Last download. Then I started The proggy and after a few seconds it says
Reading ... done
Sorting ... done
Writing output file J:\Last download\LastDL.txt.
This txt-file has always a size of 1KB and ist empty!
And I tried the old premium zone and the new premium zone as well. None of them works for me. Crying or Very sad

My guess is that you are not running LastDL on the same folder that you use to save the HTML-files.
Try this:
- save the HTML-files in the folder where you keep LastDL
or
- use the browse button in LastDL to select the folder where the HTML-files are.

The textfile will be stored in the same folder as the HTML-files.

Other possibility, you try JonnyB's suggestion (only available for VIPs, sorry):

Thanks for the quick answers wytsy and Monkey D. Ruffy.
No, I saved the htm-file in the Lastdownload-folder. That's not the reason.
So I will use the rs-accountmanager as MDR suggested.

Have a nice day.

I just tried your tool and it works for me, even with the list-view activated.
Maybe firefox is saving the pages in a slightly different way than IE. Or have you activated the RS-security lock?

But i hope this won't discourage you, wytsy, since this tool is still very helpful for those who can not or are not willing to use the rs-accountmanager.

No, I didn't activate the security lock. I will try it with IE tonight.

I am not discouraged,, don't worry.
It's just very annoying that I don't know why the program is not working. Evil or Very Mad
When the program can't find HTML-files or the file-data itself, it will generate an empty textfile.
It would be nicer if it would tell you that it can't find anything.
I consider this to be a bug, I'll fix it.

Security lock on or off makes no difference.

And thanks for discovering that the program works on list view too. Very Happy
List view doesn't show the file data, but the data is in the HTML, so the program will find it.

rudmol, I had a good look at your HTML-example, and then I noticed something:
it's in German, not English. Maybe we have a language problem.
The program looks for tags, English tags.
If your tags are in German, then that's the problem, the program won't find them.
I wanted to check this and tried to change my preferred language to German, but guess what, Rapidshare doesn't have a language option (RapidGames has one, but that one has no effect on RapidShare)
So why is your view in German?
Does Rapidshare provide German HTML, or does your browser translate it?

Can you check the language?
Right click on a HTML-file, then choose "Open with Notepad" (in German it's called "Editor", I think)
Search for Adliste
You will find a massive block of text. A lot of lines looking like this:
Adliste["12345678"]["tag"] = "value"

The English tags are:
fileid
filename
previewcode
filestatusid
downloads
sizekb
folders
lastdownload
killcode

Let me know if your tags are different.

You can change the language for RS, if you change your preferred language within your browser (I'm using FFX, pretty simple to change it, will take only seconds).
RS takes your preferences from it.

Change to German and you'll see RS in German (I did the same vice versa, because I needed some English screenshots a while ago from RS).

Thanks for the tip. Very Happy
I tried it in IE. It works fine on the general pages, even Login and Logout are in German. But the account overview remains in English.
So I downloaded and installed FF. Same problem Smile Sad

Hello wytsy and Monkey D. Ruffy, I'm very grateful for your help. Very Happy
In my german version there is no 'Adliste' in the htm-file when I open it with notepad. But I changed the language fro german to [en-us] in Firefox and now, as MDR wrote, the rs-page is shown in english and Lastdownload works fine with the english version! So the problem is solved for me and I can use Lastdownload. Very Happy Very Happy
Have a nice weekend.

Hmh, did you clear cookies and cache?!?

My FFX shows me the whole page in English, if I change the language.

So you need the English RS page.

Hello rudmol
I'm glad you found a way to use LastDL. Very Happy
But you had to change your settings for it.
That's not good. Programs shouldn't force you to do things like that.
At least we now know for sure that the problem is language.
I'll try to fix it. All I need is that Rapidshare provides an example in German.

Hello Monkey D Ruffy
Thanks for your assistance. Very Happy
When I installed FF it was a new and clean install, nothing imported from IE even.
There shouldn't be cache. Nor cookies.
I cleaned them anyway.
I also tried adding other languages: Swiss German, Austrian German, all the German I could find.
Then I tried changing my regional settings.

Nothing works!

Maybe there's a difference between just adding new languages to FF and installing a german version?
I was wondering that there are still a lot of country-versions available
Code:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html

I have installed the english version, but i added the german language for testing. The main site now have german descriptions but the source code and the tags are still english.
Same with my german version of IE.
Maybe the tags are always in english and your software just get disturbed by some other german descriptions before the adliste-section (or after).
I saved both versions of the html-file, i you want to compare them, i can send it to you.

Thanks for the offer.
What I need is an example of the German HTML.
It would be best if I could get it from Rapidshare for my own account.
Right now, I'm out of ideas, but I'll get it eventually.

Sending the example would mean that you hand over all the file information.
That information is none of my business.
If you don't mind, OK, but that is for you to decide.

And there is more.
The HTML also has your accountnumber, your loginID and your password.
Before you send anything you need to edit it out.
Use notepad, it leaves everything else intact. (MSWord will screw up the HTML).
Find-replace every occurence of your accountnumber with *****.
The same for your loginID (if you have one) and password.
Now it is safe to send.

If you don't mind all the extra work, I'm looking forward to it.
I'm getting very curious about the German version.
