Paris Hilton won't be the face, or the feet, of Sydney model Jaime Wright's new shoe range because the heiress wanted too much creative control.Wright has just returned from talks in the United States, where she's been ensuring her Floating On Diamonds high heels are seen on all the right feet.
"I've got a few people, a few celebrities wearing them on the red carpet to get the label out there," she said.
"Sophie Monk has a pair, Nicole Richie is getting a pair after the baby is born.
"Paris is wearing them, she's going to wear them, she's just not going to be the face of them."
Wright's career was launched when Hilton crowned her Ms Bondi Blonde, picking her out of a crowd of bikini-clad hopefuls to become the face of the beer brand during a promotional visit to Sydney in January.
Speaking at the red carpet opening of a new Vivo cafe in Sydney, Wright said Hilton would still be associated with the footwear until she developed her own range of shoes.
"We discussed her being the face," said Wright, wearing a pair of her own heels.
"She's always wanted to do a shoe range as well.
"We were talking about her coming on board with mine, having a little bit of creative control.
"For me she wanted a little too much creative control, so we just decided that she can do hers and I'll do mine, and she can wear mine until hers are done."

WITH Paris Hilton concerned about their sobriety, India's notorious binge-drinking elephants were served notice yesterday that they face a potent new shock in efforts to curb their killer rampages - fences dipped in the world's hottest chilli powder.
Officials in Guwahati, capital of the north-eastern state of Assam, which has the world's largest concentration of Asiatic elephants, announced they were considering bringing in a team of wildlife experts from Australia to help with the increasing incidence of man-pachyderm conflict.
Forest Minister Rockybul Hussain, speaking in the Assam state assembly, told MPs worried about the worsening situation: "We have begun working on this chilli-smeared rope fencing.
"These chillies are too hot even for the elephants, and we are banking on this experiment to check man-animal conflicts."
During an emergency debate about a recent spate of elephant rampages on Majuli, the world's largest inhabited river island, Mr Hussain said: "Man-elephant conflict has taken a serious turn because of large-scale encroachment on elephant corridors.
"The problem is beyond conventional control," he said.
"We have sought help from international experts."
Australians were among those whose advice was being sought, he said, although he declined to give any details.
According to officials in Guwahati, the "hot fencing" plan is being developed with the help of the Indian branch of the World Wildlife Fund using Bhot Jolokia, the world's hottest chilli.
There are more than 5000 wild elephants in the area and another 1600 domesticated animals, many of them "jobless" following a ban on tree felling.
In the past six years, more than 240 people and 268 elephants have reportedly been killed in man-elephant conflicts as elephants drunk on farmers' rice beer have gone on the rampage, targeting tribals and migrants who have settled on forested land that was previously their preserve.
Paris Hilton, meanwhile, is reportedly taking a keen interest in the sobriety of the elephants, and the Hindustan Times newspaper quoted her yesterday as saying the death of the electrocuted elephants was "just so sad ... The elephants get drunk all the time.
"It is becoming really dangerous. We need to stop making alcohol available to them."
Indian conservation official Sangeeta Goswami was quoted as welcoming Hilton's concern, saying such celebrity involvement in the cause of elephant sobriety would be helpful to those trying to curb the binge-drinking.

American socialite Paris Hilton checked out Shanghai fashions, cuddled stuffed pandas and sauntered along the famous waterfront Bund today while visiting China’s most style-conscious city for the MTV Style awards.
“Shanghai looks like the future!” Hilton said in a news conference at the Hyatt on the waterfront, one of the newest landmarks in a city teaming with new skysc****rs.
The celebrity heiress, author, singer, perfume designer and reality TV star was spending two days touring China’s commercial capital before Friday night’s gala awards for Chinese style and fashion trendsetters.
A visit to the city’s jam-packed Yu Yuan Garden gave her an authentic taste of Shanghainese “xiaolongbao” - juicy steam buns and flower tea - and the crowding common in the city of more than 20 million people.

MIRANDA Kerr has revealed just how much of a spoilt brat Paris Hilton can be after lifting the lid on a backstage incident at a recent Victoria's Secret fashion show.
The Gunnedah stunner talks candidly to Sassybella blog about the incident, which eventually saw Paris humiliated when she had an embarrassing naked moment.
"It was 10 minutes before the start and Paris decided she wanted to do the show. They hadn't allocated her any outfits and they had to find her three," Kerr said.
The organisers apparently told Paris she could choose a dress from the collection.
"I was standing by my rack and she goes 'I want that dress,' and she pointed to my dress, my pretty pink dress, the one I was really proud of ... and she stole it.
"I was just thinking to myself do you want me to hit you over the head with my handbag."
"I contained myself, it's quite frustrating that someone can come in 10 minutes before the start of the show and steal my dress," Kerr said.
But it seems karma came back to bite Paris, as Miranda quite proudly revealed, when the biggest diva of them all, Naomi Campbell, turned up five minutes before the show closed.

PARIS Hilton got into stalker mode to woo her ex-boyfriend Stavros Niarchos - attacking his date before screaming at him in a packed Miami club.
Paris hit Stavros' trail in Miami and was following him from club to club, report the New York Post, and her new boyfriend Alex Vaggo, was nowhere to be seen.
On Wednesday Paris started screaming at Brandon Davis's ex-girlfriend, Caroline Vreeland, who was chatting up Stavros at club Mansion, the NY Post is reporting.
By Thursday she was getting desperate.
Paris saw that Stavros was with a girl (at Mokai), and she went crazy, the Post reports.
"She literally stood on Stavros' table and began screaming at him. Then she started dancing and trying to get his attention. Paris went to great lengths trying to get Stavros' date kicked out, begging club security to get rid of the girl.

The 26-year-old visited the gifting suites at the annual Sundance Film Festival in Utah, which began on Thursday, where she picked out a gift basket from Hollywood baby boutique Petit Tresor worth $1,500. She also collected five organic blankets from earth-friendly designer Robbie Adrian.

Paris Hilton is spoiling friend Nicole Richie's newborn daughter.
The hotel heiress has still not met baby Harlow Winter Kate Madden - who was born on January 11 - but has sent her several gifts.
When asked about being Aunt Paris, she squealed: "I'm so excited! I've sent her all these presents. I'm going to spoil her!"
Paris - who is rumoured to be Harlow's godmother - also revealed she approved of Nicole's choice of baby name.
She added to Us Weekly magazine: "It's the coolest name ever. I'm like, 'That is the coolest name, oh my God!'
"I wouldn't even think she would have thought of that. It's a beautiful name. Nicole always knows what's cool before it happens."
The 27-year-old socialite also defended her troubled friend Britney Spears, insisting she is a "sweet" girl.
She added: "She's such a sweet girl. When I'm alone with her, she's a completely different person than she is portrayed to be. And I love her, I think she's very sweet and has a big heart."
