OK I recognize 4 of 5, with a suspicion about the other one...

I think I know either artist or possible song, but on only one I think I have both, and since others seem to be playing now, I will throw out one guess.

4)"Hazy Shade of Winter" Procul Harem (spelling???) or The Bangles

I wanna play!
Actually, I wanted to play earlier, but the hints were too tough. With an easy batch, I think I can only guess 3 of 5.

1) Roxette - The Look (or You've Got the Look, not sure)

3) Sex Pistols - Anarchy in the UK

4) Bangles - Hazy Shade of Winter

Hazy Shade of Winter was release on the 1968 album "Bookends" by simon and Garfunkel. plenty of cover including the bangles, Also released as a single A-side with "She's Lost You" by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts (1987)

1) Roxette - The Look
2) Savage Garden - I want you
3) Sex Pistols - Anarchy in the UK
4) Simon & Garfunkel - Hazy Shade of winter, but any of the above would do
5) Styx - AD 1928

at least I am averageing one a set that you guys dont know, thats a start

well done Mole, bobrysl and Mozzie.

Im going to have to make these a bit harder I think

1) Well I'm standing here looking at you,What do I see? I'm looking straight through

2) If theres a tear on my face, it makes me shiver to the bone, just a heartache that got caught in my eye

3) I never believed in things that I couldn't see I said if I can't feel it then how can it be

4) He bless the boys as they stand in line, the smell of gun grease and their bayonets they shine.

5) When the war is over got to get away, pack my bags to no place in no time no day

6) Hello, is there anybody in there, just nod if you can hear me, is there anyone at home.

thats enough hard and easy go to town

Whiter Shade of Pale. Fuck I got my bizarre song titles mixed up, oh well, got the bangles Laughing Laughing Laughing

0.09 seconds on google, guess this proves I play by the rules.

I was not sure, but with the reference to cherry cola, I thought it was Lola, but the rest of the verse sounded wrong, glad I kept my mouth shut!!!

Only because they've been mentioned a few times in the forum today, this song's been on my mind, otherwise, I'm drawing a blank. Pink Floyd Comfortably Numb

I suspect the Googling inference is aimed at yours truly...

so I go to google:
You're right, makes it easy Wink

1. Robbie Williams - Ant Music
2. Alice Cooper - I never Cry 1976
3. America - You Can Do Magic 1982 (also recorded by Golden Hair)
4. The Animals - Sky Pilot
5. Uriah Heep - When the war is over (also by Cosima, Australian Idol)
6. Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb

It also takes the fun right out of it. Crying or Very sad
