Another useful analogy: if a road had absolutely no speed limit, then
society could indeed rely on 99% of the people to nevertheless drive at a
safe speed. But the problem is, there will always be that last 1% of the
population, filled with utterly stupid, shallow, reckless, immature idiots
who just plain cannot and will not accept any limits as being "reasonable".
And they will end up killing other (innocent) people. If you doubt it, take a
look at what happened n Montana -- a huge and pretty much empty state -
- when they completely removed any speed limits from some of their
highways. They had good reasons for doing so. But within a few years,
they realized they had made a bad mistake, and had failed to take
adequately into account the tendency of a reckless and stupid (small)
minority to kill, not just themselves, but innocent people as well. So, they
adopted speed limits again.

Even if Max's stuff is offensive to some people, as long as all parties involved are consenting adults, I don't see the problem....
