Hello, everyone. First of all I think it is a good sign that we can all have some calm discussion here.

As you read already GS already made some - not to say big - moves TOWARD you guys! You have to see that and acknowledge that:

1) MU and RS are allowed again
2) Old mods are welcome to help to keep the board clean (and the work out of the new structure is still in progress)
3) Everybody is TRYING to work on ALL issues now and to have some constructive and fertile discussion TOGETHER - not against each other.

Now most importantly for the "spam": I ask myself: WHY the HELL are you even LOOKING at that section of the board and those threads YOU think is "spam"??? Why are you watching those god damn threads if you hate them? I explained at some other point how I was fighting those kind of massive fast posters on many other boards WITHOUT any success because - and HERE comes the MAIN point!!! - there are THOUSANDS of users that are LOOKING for EXACTLY that kind of stuff and are clicking and downloading that. I had to accept that and it is some kind of VERY important thing: if lurkers or users LIKE that kind of stuff posted - why the HELL do you have to delete it if it is posted according to the rules? Some boards even made some IRC meeting with all 30 moderators to discuss my pleading against those fast mass posting but came just to the conclusion that as long as those mass posters do not VIOLATE ANY rules and people are CLICKING those threads like crazy so there is NO WAY to make them illegal and it would be unfair, unwise and pathetic to do so.

It would be like making "comics" illegal to the "new york times" because it does not fit the high standards of the journalistic professionalism. But people LOVE them and many are actually buying the NYT JUST to read the comics. ---> If you don't like them, don't read them!

My suggestion is: JUST don't GO THERE for heaven's sake!

Now for the argument that the quality of FO is going down: NO, it is NOT as long as you keep your great threads in the "heart of the board" - the babes pictures section - UP!

You will see that you will generate just as many of clicks with slow updating IF the quality of your posts is great - NO MATTER what other fast posters are doing.

YOU can make your "babes" section the "high quality standard" of this board - DO it! NON of those HQ threads will be hijacked! It is up to you to keep FO the great, most traditional picture board of the whole internet - like it was before and will be.

ALL other things can and will be worked out ---> together <---- with you if you keep the discussion nice and friendly.

You know what: if you look at my other threads I am running at other boards you may have noticed that my "individual title" is always

--> "fighting spam with HQ porn"

That is MY goal, my task. Join me and DO that!

PS: other boards are FAR, far worse than this. And the spammers coming from god damn SHRMRX are far, far worse than everything I have seen here.

PPS: There could actually still the possibility to create some "HQ - traditional section" where only ONE update per day per thread per user is allowed. But I guess even if we do that all of you guys would still be unhappy. Or not?

Yes, thank you!

I can see from the new rules GS is trying placate us by encouraging these robots to speak, but he must realise: they have no interest in community. They don't collect for themselves. They don't fall in love with a model and spend hours collecting, sorting, watching and enjoying our passion.

They're too busy trying to post as much stuff at as many boards as possible. All you'll get is them posting the bare minimum thread introductions just to meet the rules.

I understand you. But as far as I can see those guys DO NOT post in the "babes pictures section" at all - or barely.

Your threads are in no way influenced by that. Or are they?

OK, as you can see:

New rule:

"(...)will not be tolerated and will be removed immediately and continuous violations will result in a life long ban.
Spamming is prohibited and you all know that so it is STRONGLY suggested that you don’t update your threads more than 5 times per day. Violators will be punished to the full extent. "

--> I think this is one big step in your guys direction, is it not?

And even for me this new rule is a little bit unfair. Because one can post great stuff and STILL post more than 10 updates per thread!

For example if your beloved main thread ("teen fisting girls" in my case) is already finished on other boards for 3 years and you just want to post that stuff here one could make many updates and it would STILL be all HQ stuff.

Or my ALSSCAN siterip many of you guys here would certainly like to see...according to that NEW rule we made for YOU that is NOT possible. Only with VERY small steps each day.

Or in my case: I collected all videos I could get of young girls drinking piss in over 6 damn years (!!! - read that number!). Not everyone's cup of tea - I know. But that was A HELL of a work and I had literally to watch 90% of CRAP videos to sort out all the bullshit and find the real good stuff according to my own standards. This "young girls drinking piss" thread is UNIQUE in the WHOLE internet although I am running it on about 20 forums now. And literally THOUSANDS of hours of work are into that.

Nevertheless the (mother) thread has already way above 400 videos - my teen fisting mother thread above 1,000 mostly HQ videos. I could Post both threads RIGHT AWAY here. And the quality would be just as great as it is in my "mother" threads.

--> but now according to the new "no spam" rule we made for YOU GUYS (!!!!!) I actually can't do that!!!

Do you get me? Don't say we are not trying to move towards you. We are trying hard.

well, I have watched this from aside the last few days.

I'd like to point out what I didnt like what has happened.

Of course, there has been some changes in the forum rules that were quite heavy.
I was able to understand why the attachments were removed (I had to re-add every link that was hidden in the attachments & a lot of previews, of course no bot would have done that)

I noticed that the boards speed has increased right after these changes & that was a positive thing, so I just said to myself: forget about this damn attachment box. Its not necessary.

The new rules about hosts was another thing that wasnt easy to accept (of course I mean the very first stage of the argument, when RS wasn't allowed at all & the rule about mirrors on ORON)

When this argument took place I found myself not being very happy with RS anymore. So I thought about a switching to MU.
As others said before, I am one of these uploaders who really dont care about earning cash $$$ with uploads. I always uploaded my stuff to free accounts, just for the matter of sharing. And I upped quite a lot & fresh content you can rarely find anywhere else.

Now, what made me angry after all:
To: Good Samaritan:
You said you removed the power of the mods for some reason, bacause they didnt do what you expected them to do.
those of us, who are here for quite a while know that you have been gone for a long time, leaving software errors, mods & admins all alone.
Those guys who cleaned the forum for you (and hell yes, they did it great), although they had no ideas what to answer some members about software bugs & such things.
I just think it was so very wrong to shut their voices.
Ok, now you made offers they can come back, but serious, dont you think that your judgement about them was a bit rash?

Of course you can say, what does it all have to do with the forum after all?
For me, and I think also for others thats an important thing. We had a nice working community here, some might have found friends along the way.
You werent there for a whole while. Coming back, all of a sudden, with big changes & not much respect to those who made this forum a real pleasure.

btw. I don't have any problems with the rules right now (except the link protector issue probably). its just that nobody can know what happens next. your way of acting is just not predictable.

and @ayebite

I think its all fine what you say. Just one thing. We all have noticed by now, that the quality of a forum is always the quality level of its content.
You said one should leave this spam posts as they are, they dont hurt.
I'm asking you, how should I find the good content if the spam posts get more and more.
It just cant work just to overlook the fact that they exist, when there are more new spam-posts than actual good & fresh posts.

the new rule b.0. sounds good btw and is a good thing how to handle this!

Sorry if my english is not perfect, I hope I was able to point out what I didnt like.

For a couple of hours ago the Forumophilia Administrator Igor G made this post in square´s thread:

Official FF Guidelines were updated. Please make sure you’ve read them.
Specifically the paragraph (b:0) under Sharing Materials section.
https://www.forumophilia.com/topic53075.html
“Spamming is prohibited and you all know that so it is STRONGLY suggested that you don’t update your threads more than 5 times per day. Violators will be punished to the full extent.”

After this post where made by Igor G, square have updated his thread another 3 times Very Happy Real bad that a moderator gives a complete shit about the rules and also gives a complete shit about what a Administrator says. Twisted Evil

OK, You have a point there. But most of us already KNOW who is some mass poster and who is some provider of good stuff with love and heart.

My additional idea would be (I am still thinking about that) to make some user based rating system for every provider - just simply by clicking "thumbs up" or "thumbs down" for some post. On the other hand that could lead to some anger and hate between some users that feel they are not enough appreciated. Pros and cons.

My personal strategy that I am running in the past 2 years always was to work INSIDE the community and look who are the "good guys", who befriended whom.
And also note that it is not that hard to search, take a quick look at some thread and see how good or bad it is. I don't know for what stuff you are looking but at least the "teen babes picture" section is one of the best in the whole internet still (besides one Russian forum that is closed down now at is seems *sniff*). And I am working personally on the BDSM - fetish board and lesbian area with my small threads now.

And by the way: why don't you use the section: "general chat" and make a topic: who is a good poster - who is not?

And please give us some days to make things work.

Thankee!

The 25 sets per day limit is so ridiculous and show how ignorant are the actual people making current rules regarding how great this board was working thanks to the tons of the daily good stuff that some posters were providing here. Spam and flooding are definitively something different than daily count post - this is on human mod task to judge if one post is in FO guideline or not, if it is spam or flood or not and decide.

And this is just putting the archival (dead) site rip provider out of FO - is it what you want?

I think we are close to some general agreement now!

You see: ---> The 25 posts per day rule was at least one effective solution to stop the SO MASSIVELY criticized spamming (I am still not sure if that is the correct term for people just posting too much) and to make those guys happy that were in SUCH a hard rage about those mass posters.
NOW you say the number is too small...

*sigh*

I think everybody can see now how hard it is to make everybody happy.

But we are close...VERY close to find a good solution for everybody.
Come on guys! We can do this!

Please make some good suggestions, everyone!

Sorry to bother you ayebite, but why does it take so long to bring back 'topic search'?
Many members miss this feature. Isn't it just a click in the settings?
Or will this feature never come back? Rolling Eyes

Please take note that I am not the owner, admin or some of the technical staff. I am trying to communicate. And may I just remind you of the major changes done at youtube, JustinTV and even stickam that everybody was pissed about - but the new users were just fine with. Those changes were done WITHOUT any communication or any move towards the old users.

--> we are trying to make a compromise.

All I am asking for is SOME cooperation and patience. And if you don't see the fact that we made some major changes because many of the old members - AND important members - asked for it then I am very sorry.

Please be fair.

You are not bothering me at all.

Since I am just a mod and not the admin, owner or IT-guy I can and will send this complain directly to the staff.

I can only guess that it might be some technical problem. Please take note that ALL of those changes were done ONLINE. EB was down for 3 weeks (!!!) - and afterwards it was pretty much fucked, unlike this board.

Again: I am mailing your request right now.

Fair? Cooperation? No.

We (the old content providers) weren't treated with any fairness. These changes hit and we were told to adapt or fuck off. I'm choosing the latter.

But before I do - if you're not "the owner, admin or some of the technical staff" they why do you keep referring to "we"? Either you actually are "the owner, admin or some of the technical staff" or you're just full of shite.

And I'm sorry for not being an "important member" (whatever the hell that is), but I never asked anybody to change a goddamn thing. I just wanted to post my 3 threads of content every day in peace. If you can't see how the changes you claim to have nothing (or everything) to do with prevents me from doing that then I am... no, not sorry... can't think of a word, nevermind.

Ok, then let me replace "we" with "them".

Better?
And how do you think am I feeling now?
Just keep hitting on me. Great.
And for the content provider: Maybe I didn't post 3,000 videos at this board, but I surely did at others. And more than one time a board COMPLETE forbid the hoster I was using.

And dang: 2 years of work deleted. In one day. Not one "sorry" or ANY explanation. Just some note that "shrmtrx" is now the main sponsor of the board and claimed to make the following hosters to become illegal and all posts to be removed.

That is what happened to me. Those board owners just didn't give a FUCK about my status at all. In fact they even BANNED be 3 days later for my signature.

Just for your information.
