Please do not read my post as agressiveness or arogance - I will say what I didn't liked in all this.

Of course, now oron is not the indispensable host as it was made in beginning - but posters are not sure that this will not happen suddenly one day again.

Discussions started about adding new hosts. But all hosts were removed and only oron left, only big discussions and, I suppose, many arguments from ex-moderators two ex-hosts were re-added. Why other two hosts were removed? Why discussions were made and no other, more convienient hoster for free user, was added? We do not see answers to this.

Personally, I think that sharing is good only then when poster do not have profit from that. Therefore I was hoping some multiupload sites will be added, but no...

Linkprotectors compromise security of the board and users? If it is really so - then additional route through some anonymizer would help. Posting in "naked" form in the place visible even from google etc. - is not a solution. Posters do not like to work and see links killed in a few hours. It is the same like trying to get a baby when using a condom - useless waste of time!

I liked previously permitted picture site because not a single picture was removed! And I saw many posts with note "removed because of copyright violation" instead of photo. And now that hoster is banned and some - wchich do not seem good to me - are permitted...

And of course - dismissing of moderators doesn;t seem right to us... They were doing their job very great, there wasn't any bad posts because of their work - therefore we had respected them a lot. And now, even them are rejected... it is not in the mood of friendly community...

Just have the guts to tell that this forum purely has become a promoting-site for one specific hoster.
I don't belive that RS-changes were the reason for your decision to ban one of the (still) most widely used hoster.

for €9.95 leecher get up to 10 months at RS or one month +320GB traffic =350GB (If loading at HH it's 3.5TB)

For free-user the download-speed is comparable, except annoying waiting-times and captchas.



I don't think that the members/leecher here need various imagehosts with popups and so on. The former mods took very good care having user-friendly forum.

People react quite sensitive on how is played with the members (including staff) here.

I provide for and guarantee the stability of this forum for all these years. As I already told you guys the changes were necessary and I think that everybody can admit that. Many sections of our forum were not adequate anymore.

New host was permitted because RS changed their rules and policies and I had to give posters a choice. I admit that I overreacted a bit with the RS ban thing but I’m always open for suggestion and I heard you guys and I brought it back. You can always talk to me, I know how to admit that I was wrong unlike the moderators.

Moderators were not following my rules, administrator was not following my orders and that’s not acceptable, I’m still an owner of this forum. All who want to become a moderator please send me a PM and your candidacy will be reviewed. My only few conditions are to follow my rules and do the job right.

The rules concerning file and image hosts are final and they are not going to be changed anytime soon.

Well this is just my opinion, but as i'm the second-most prolific poster (quite a way behind sveindoll) on this forum I like to think that maybe it has some weight.

First of I think it's strange that people are mad that the number of filehosters has gone down. For uploaders it's better with fewer filehosters (or even only one) because that means more premium accounts on that fileshost=more downloads=longer life for the uploads. Yes if you have all your files uploaded on another filehost then it's not that good - but then again real uploaders make uploads for that specific forum - they don't spam their links all over the net.
For downloaders it's even better - you only need 1 premium account and then you can get everything that's uploaded - yes Oron (which everybody is mad about) have a 12 gigabyte/3 days cap, but let's face it, bandwith costs money - so the filehosts that have no limits do that by making the small users pay for the big users (like MU) or cancel your account for whatever reason with no way to complain (like HF).
If I was the forum-owner I might have chosen another host (Fileserve or Netload) but then again I can understand GS's motivation to choose Oron - it is widely used on what certainly is the biggest Porn-board on the net = a lot of posts by (pardon my french) post-whores from that board.
In fact if I was in charge I would have chosen Oron as the ONLY filehost allowed, from the choises given (RS-which is WAY too expensive for large uploaders and then the links die very fast, MU- which servers gives way too many errors when uploading (even by FTP) and Oron)
Infact the Warez-boards that are most succesfull (now and in the past) are the ones with only 1 filehoster (in the past RS now it's mostly HF) - I don't know all that much about Porn-boards but I suspect it's the same.

Then there is the question about the moderators (or ex-moderators): GS makes the rules (after some discussion which I think has happened) and the moderators has to follow them or leave. But they seem to have made the decision to not follow the rules - so GS really had no choise but to take their moderating privilegies away. I have to admit I think that's quite fair, I have come across moderators before that thought they ruled the board, eventhough others (and me) payed the bills, and well from my side that resulted in an IP-ban, so I think GS is very understanding (maybe too much).

Then there is the crap about GS maybe earning money from referrals - first if he is - congratulations! it's quite hard to make money from a forum even one as big as this. Then second if that was foremost in his mind why allow MU and RS without an Oron link. And third do you have any idea what it cost's to run a forum like this? I do and I would be surprised if GS earns in month what would be a normal weekly(or even daily)-wage in a normal job. So if he can get some money from Oron to cover the server-costs then go for it.

There is really only one thing I think could be better and that would be the inclusion of a Hide-tag. I agree with the decision to ban link-protectors (a more virus infested-swamp it's hard to find and then there is the possibility of phishing) but it would be nice to have the possibility to hide the links from everyone's prying eyes. Then you could have a guest-forum where every link has to be out in the open for everyone to see (and get that much more downloads) - and maybe even submit them to Katz or Phaze or whatever.

Well that was my 2 cents - now I think it's on to posting more quality posts using Oron - and to the doubters: for the about 30 posts I made with Oron I have gotten about 1500 downloads in 6 days so there most be alot of leechers and other members who don't give a damn about this but just want to download quality porn.
