I also appreciate your allowing members to speak freely throughout this process. All financially motivated decisions aside...the ability to speak without fear of reprisal is a rare and beautiful thing in this world. During this maelstrom of changes, FP members should note that some pretty heated comments have been posted but have not resulted in bannings. Very cool.

Internet postings are the first place in human history where people can speak an opinion and not have other people half-listen, half-filter that opinion using preconceptions about the speaker (race, nationality, etc.) because none of that other "information" is available in a post by a username, only the idea itself. So it is a real tragedy when voices are silenced because their words run counter to the agenda of someone with the power to silence them (other boards which shall remain nameless, China, etc.). Very happy to see that this is not the policy here at FP. 8)

la4765, if you google any of those fake new members' links you will see they are posted in dozens of threads, so their only intention is to earn money, as much as they can. I don't feel comfortable sharing the forum with guys like these. If you want to earn money, get a job MFs!
