I don’t see a problem switching from RS or any other host to ORON, not technically, not even financially.
Although these changes are effective immediately. I agreed to give people some time to adjust and moderators will start en**** new rules from 01.08.2010.
Forumophilia is going to thrive, it is going to grow, it going to become the biggest, most bad ass forum out there and that’s my promise to you. So stop paddling upstream and join the flow people!"

I would just like to thank the members for their contributions. Forumophilia was one of my favorite sites both for its content and its community. I'm a bit sorry that I didn't find out about it sooner. I'm going to miss a lot of faces around here. 
At the risk of angering the gods, would someone let me know (PM) where people are headed, if there is? If not, that's cool too.

dg321, sadly, everyone going to differend places - the changes were made so fast there was no way to find out solutions between posters about this. And, secondary, any post with address of "new place" (or hints about this) would be deleted very fast - moderators are working fast here

Frankly, I dont see a problem. This board has been free for all of us to use for a very long time- The mods and GS have put in an incredible amount of work to maintain this forum for us. Why shouldn't GS make a little money for his efforts? I've never had a problem with Rapidshare, dont exactly care for Megaupload and while Mediafire seems ok, its the choice of GS to make whatever rules he sees fit. This is his yard, we're the invited guests.
I'll stay and see how things go, and most likely those who leave will be replaced by others.

ratzafratz, you still do not understand what sharing is (and it is not difficult understand, why, by number of your posts). But most posters here do understand - sharing is not because of money, people share because they want to provide best chances for everyone to have what they can provide. At first, I have been posting to 2 mirrors allowed here. The, RS killed everything in one minute. After that, I've started to upload to 3 hostings... maybe now you understand the meaning of sharing?
We all do understand that any site has expenses (paying for hosting). And we liked that forum wasn;t like many other in the net - greedy for money with such hostings which is "offered" now.
You do not see problem, but most of us - see. We will not be able to share here without paying money anymore.
Oh, btw... (m)oron pays if link is opened in a browser from the site,- but there are download programs which catch links and no referalls are sent... so... this business will not be successful
