Seems like the forum is having problems with pics, thumbs, etc, so seems like a good time for some music fun. As per SD's blessing, I'll give this a try.

I like doing sets with themes, so here come the 90's at ya. One song for each year. Not sure how easy or hard to make this, so I'll err on the simpler side and provide the year (I really don't know what the hell I'm doing). Of course there's been great music in other decades as well, and I probably know more stuff from the 70's, but IMHO the 90's had a few of the best years in music history. 1992, 1995, 1999, and especially 1994 were simply amazing.

No Pearljam or Nirvana ... don't want to make it too easy. And sorry, I don't do Hippity-Hop, and if you're looking for Hanson, you're mmm-bopping in the wrong place. Blah blah blah, I do ramble on so at times. Goes with the name. Rolling Eyes

1. (1990) Hush now, don't you cry, wipe away the teardrop from your eye. You're lying safe in bed, it was all a bad dream spinning in your head.

2. (1991) A woman on the radio talks about revolution, when it's already passed her by, but Bob Dylan didn't have this to sing about you, you know it feels good to be alive

3. (1992) Maybe a great magnet pulls all souls towards truth. Or maybe it is life itself that feeds wisdom to its youth.

4. Whatever makes you happy, whatever you want. You're so fuckin' special, I wish I was special...

5. Crossing that bridge, with lesson.s I've learned. Playing with fire, and not getting burned.

6. You treat me like I'm a princess, I'm not used to liking that. You ask how my day was.

7. Weapons not food, not homes, not shoes, not need, just feed the war cannibal animal. I walk the corner to the rubble that used to be a library, line up to the mind cemetary now.

8. But I'm a million different people, from one day to the next, I can't change my mold, no no no no no.

9. I thought I saw a man brought to life. He was warm, he came around like he was dignified, he showed me what it was to cry.

10. (1999) I didn't hear you leave, I wonder how am I still here. And I don't want to move a thing, it might change my memory.

I only recognize 2 of them. 4 is Creep by Radiohead and 8 is Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve.

Too late for Creep, but 10 is Dido, "Here with Me".

That was out in the last century? I'm older than I thought. And if that's the only song I knew, I may be gay.

Yep, threw Dido in there for Mozzie (good snag on my favorite Alanis song), since I still feel bad about correcting her earlier. Embarassed Yeah-Bob, Dido's No Angel came out in Nineteen-ninety-niner. You just might be old. You just might be a Creep too. But I reckon you ain't gay, judging by the unfuckingbelievable array of sets of scrumptious teenage feminine pulchritude you've posted.

Oh my gawd, I just used the word "pulchritude" in a forum, now I'M gay.

Halfway home, odd years done.

Don't feel bad, I beat you to using it weeks ago. In any case, I'm not sure that's the official criteria. How many different variations of "This chick is fucking' hot!" can we write - without diving into the three-dollar-word bin?

According to Forum bylaws: as long as you're thinking about the girl Rocco is fucking, and not about fucking Rocco, you're in the clear.

I get the feeling that I know number 5 but I'm not exactly sure. Is it "Learning to Fly"? It sounds very familiar whatever it is.

Yeah, that's the idea. I bet most if not all people have heard all of these songs. Very Happy Nope, #5 not Pink Floyd though. Hint: very close to one of the most prolific posters on this board in the last month.

Gays-ville. Population: Ramblin'man and Bobrysl. Mole too, because, well, he's Mole. Plus I bet he knows more than he's letting on.

Mozzie, well, I did feel bad about correcting you and also my mistake in my PM when I thought you were someone else (long story) -- that must have been weird to get, and you were probably like WTF. I mean, its not like getting a song artist correct is that important, no worries. Gentler caring side? Shhhh, don't tell anybody. Cool

Not sure if I should give answers, as I wanted to make sure that Sir Darkstar had a chance to "play his own game". I would say that #3 and #9 are the hardest ones. I will be all in a rage if no one gets #7 though.
