I have tons of Porn comics to post with GBs of Size and very good ones and the latest ones. I've seen some demand in the Comic Section like Manara and J A B. And I've got them all and much much more stuff than posted on this Forum. And all the files are packed very cleanly either in RAR or in PDF Format and uploaded on Rapidshare. The only problem is that most of the sample images of the comics are stored on ImageRise while only a few are stored on Imagevenue which I used to use prior to Imagerise. But the results of imagevenue were not good as it continued to show Error Loading Image again and again and so I had to shift to Imagerise. Which is much Smoother and gives no problems at all. So Kindly consider adding this image host named Imagerise to the approved sites list so that I may start posting the Comics. That'll be really appreciated.

In the mean time I will find some of the comics in my database with the images stored on imagevenue and post them.

Regards

Prince

http://subefotos.com/ is great for individual pics (It allows hotlinking)

http://www.freeimagehost.eu is a great gallery host (It allows hotlinking with some forums)
I see a variant of it on the approved list.

How about adding File Cloud?

While not as popular as the apprpved ones, it does for allow for large files without getting cut into pieces

And for free users

1) Usually less waiting time than RS
2) Faster down load speeds than RS
3) One piece files so one wait and one down ( the largest I have every loaded as been 800mb)
4) No trojans and few if any pop ups which can be blocked with any pop up blocker

Only one time in the time that I have been using FC has there been a complaint and that from a poster here who later admitted he probably did not understand how to down the file and wanted me to re post it at a host that he was a premium member of. I do know that i get thousands of downs a week from here since I have been posting here

RapidShare and MegaUpload is very popular no doubt. However, their upload speed is like only 40 ~ 50ks. So Uploading a 200mb file will take like 2, 3 hrs. It's not very efficient as I only have a few hours a week to upload my files.

I am not associated with any hosting sites. I just tested MediaFire, as I read online saying that that site is gonna be a RapidShare killer, they can yield 387k for upload!

Plz run some tests on it to see if it lives up to the standard of File Hosting rules of this great website.

Thanks for your time .

They say it is only temporary

Mediafire was on the banned list, but I don't know where that thread is anymore.

It was mentioned that Mediafire tries to install software for users with little protection who use Internet Explorer.

Mediafire was on the old banned list for reasons AKAbob mentioned above. It won't be added to the permitted list.

AKAbob I tested http://www.freeimagehost.eu/ yesterday. Every time I clicked on a thumbnail I got a diversion and once it froze and then crashed my browser (testing with Firefox). I won't be recommending it for addition on the permitted list.

Thanks for all of your other suggestions guys. I will be testing them as time allows. At some point however it seems logical to say "How is this host better than others which are already on the list and if it isn't, why add it?" The purpose of to list is to have a good range of acceptable, clean hosting sites. Once this is achieved I see very little point in adding to it.

Although I haven't used it lately, it still gets heavy usage in another forum with a lot of hosted galleries. Oh well.

Because I have tons of pictures hosted on them. I could copy and paste them here, rather than reinvent the wheel and re-host them Smile

It's always nice to spread the wealth around a bit with imagehosts. You never know when one won't be working, or your pics may not be showing, for whatever reason, at any particular time or another.

I haven't seen anyone mention http://lix.in/ for a link protector site. It seems like it would be ok, and I've seen it used on other forums.

About the only time you'll see it here is in phishing posts Evil or Very Mad. For that if for no other reason it's unlikely to be permitted here.

I agree that we need a decent range of good hosting sites but having a massive and ever growing list of permitted sites is just as confusing and unwieldy as having a massive and ever growing list of banned sites which was the situation we used to have and why we changed to the present system. The day will come when we have to say "enough".

Thanks for the quick reply. I just mentioned it because a moderator on another forum actually recommended that people use that link protector for their forum. I don't normally protect my links, but probably should somehow.

Some people who know a lot more than I do about these things (although let's face it that includes virtually everyone including my cat) say that a link protector is completely unnecessary. They say it's just as effective to use the code facility:
http://www.yourlink.com
or to hide the link with text or an image:

text or image link
