Sorry to barge in but I still don't understand why easy-share was banned. Megaupload and filefactory have way more ads and they also pay the uploader. Can anyone tell me why not easy-share? I really like easy-share and it's interface. I got a premium account after 15000 downloads in 30 days. I just don't know if there's any problem with virus or spywares/adwares. To me, this is the only negative aspect on this forum. Hope you re-considere it. Thanks! Razz

We pay 1 dollar for 1000 downloads from the following countries: Brazil, Czech Republic, India, Japan, Malaysia, Mexica, Turkey, Poland, Russia, Ukraine.
All other countries are paid $0.1 per 1000 downloads.

Q When and how do I get paid?
A You have to request money to be paid. Request form is available to accounts that have premium accounts valid for 1 month or more. Please be sure to request money before the 15th day of current month, to get the payment by the end of the month.

Q Is there a minimum download limit per month?
A We don't have such limits. Accounts with 100 or 100K of monthly downloads will be paid, sooner or later.

I have questions regarding Imagevenue. Until recently the only problem I had with Imagevenue was the occasional thumbnail that leads to nowhere I received when I uploaded a gallery.

I have seen the host banned in some forums back in the big "virus" scare early last fall. One forum's administrator told me he, himself, got the virus. The virus thing came and went. I never had a problem. Coincidentally, the places I saw Imagevenue banned all had interests in their own in-house image host, or had advertising arrangements with new image hosts. Lately, every Tom, Dick, and Harry seems to want to start an Image host.

I have seen Imagevenue banned recently in yet other forums because of it's new advertising policies. This I have had first hand experience and annoyance with. Imagevenue occasionally gives a redirect to a "skip this ad" advertisement page. It doesn't generate pop-ups, or leave new widow open on my computer, but the advertising is a bit annoying. When it began, I got the occasional redirect. Lately, I am redirected far more often than not.

Image host come, change, and go, but Imagevenue is still around, and the only changes are in it's advertisng policies. I still use Imagevenue. I have even used it here, but only because it is easy to remember, and I don't have to consult the banned list. I have a hard time remembering which new hosts I like, or even suit my needs anymore. If I do any serious contributing, I will find less annoying hosts from the allowable host list. I only hope that the host I choose doesn't lose my uploads in a system error, ban hotlinking to this forum, or even worse, go out of business.

Is Imagevenue's advertising policy serious enough concern for anyone else to justify it not being accepted here any longer?

Hi mods,

do you face any problems with the picture host
http://anonym.to/?http://www.dreamuploader.com ?

[edit] Site is suspended since a few days, forget about it. It was too good to be true [edit]

It seems to be new, they say that they host about 5500 pics which isn't much, but as i tried it, it seems to work fine.
Since filecloud seems to have reached their capacity limit (they tricked me with not letting me get a new account, cause my email ended with ".de", seems they only accept new acounts from *.com-emails) i'm always looking for a picturehost who lets you embed large previews in the post, so let's see how long it survives.

Allow

Code:
stealth.to

It is an official Rapidshare Link Protector. Even if the Link Contains and phishing link Stealth Gives direct Links to the download of the original Rapidshare LInk. I have tested it myself please review it Admins

I have to laugh. One, there's no relation between stealth.to and rapidshare.com that I know of. Rapidshare doesn't endorse it anywhere visible. Two, it's not physically possible to prevent a link redirector from being used for phishing.

I'm guessing that stealth.to is the default redirector in your automatic-phishing-post scripts. How sad for you that it isn't on the approved list. Unless someone else requests it and another mod agrees, consider the request declined.

Smukke Charlie PMed me suggesting that this image host be added to the permitted list:

http://picturedumper.com/

I've tested it with IE and it seems fast and clean. Anyone had any problems with it?

For image hosting please add

http://www.subefotos.com - my preferred image host. allows direct linking to the image without clicking thumbnails.

http://www.filecloud.com - also allows direct linking and i've seen other posters use it. probably me secondary choice.

i wish everyone used image hosts that allowed direct linking to the images as it is a pain to click on many tiny thumbs. Smile

For link protectors please add

http://link-protector.com - has worked well for me and an account can be created to manage links and add up to 10 at a time.
