I still cant get used to the new language ... There is no expiry-date, so no extension anymore. Only these Rapids.
All accounts are valid forever. (maybe there is some claenup of accounts not used for a long time)
The date is not used anymore, now you have the premium/platinum status as long as you have (Points/)Rapids. All remaining days of a Premium-Account have been converted to 20 Rapids each.
e.g. 7300 Rapids = 365 days * 20 Rapids/day [this was done automatically]
+ 5 Rapids / 1GB TrafficShare remaining [automatically]
According to RS there will be an option to convert (5000 FP AND 5000 PP) into 600 Rapids. I've just used the old way of extending an account, which did the same.
Files are stored for maximum 60 days without download (like before) - depending on the "Storage safe of deletion" the files stay online forever. [There is a new option in the settings: Automatically delete inactive files (after 60 days without a download). ]
The system
selects the package automatically and without notification: dead link
I recommend seperating download- and upload-account
create a new account and move all files there.
This way you won't loose any Rapids just for storing files.
Now you only have to be really carefull with downloading, if you don't want to loose all Rapids wirhout even noticing.
I hope that RS will fix this, even if they state its intentionally made this way.
There wont be much new uploads to RS, because they cancelled their point-system.
MU is an option - most other hoster are not allowed here, because they pay in cash.
