France V Uruguay was a terrible match, so boring. I don't know if I was more disappointed in France or the match itself.

it was a pretty dull match. the red card was definitely necessary, though. Sanga couldve ended up with a broken leg on a tackle like that. Henry had a great chance but was offsides and sent a header close to the far post.

France really let one get away from them there. Though a few good glimpses at the end of the game (although they were a man up...)

Actually Ransom509 i think the referee did a good job on the opening game.
I do agree the Uruguay vs. France match was horrible and boring. Let's hope to see some real world cup level tomorrow.

didn't catch a match because of work too! But from what I heard about the matches, while interesting - they were not what people expected.

The first 2 matches ending in a draw: I hope this is not a sign of other matches to come.

Argentina looked very impressive going forward, they should have scored more than one, but looked a bit weak in defence.

An exciting game though and I'm looking forward to tonight's game
