I didn't notice a video game topic in the first few pages, so I'll start one here. Anyone here a gamer? I'm excited about the upcoming Bioshock 2, the sequel to one of the best first person shooters since Halo. Innovative, breath taking and haunting, the first one was the first 360 game I thought was "next gen". I hope the sequel is just as good. What games are you looking forward to playing? Ghostbusters? Final Fantasy 87 (or whatever number they are up to).

As long as no games will be posted here (that's a pr0n board), a discussion thread is fine.

Since I won a PS3 last year Very Happy Very Happy (I would never bought one, too expensive), I've played several games.
BioShock was fine, looking forward to see BioShock 2.

Killzone 2 was a little bit disappointing, awesome graphic and game play, but really short. Same MGS 4.

My recommendation: Fallout 3, if you like First Person Ego Shooter in combination with role playing elements and a great story.

I've been waiting for Fallout 3 to come down in price, but that might take a while. What I hate is that the games I buy at full price are the ones that get real cheap fast, like Farcry 2 and Dead Space, but the ones I hold out on buying like Fallout 3 or Fable II, are still full price. The PS3 is finally getting decent games for the machine, but it might be too little too late. And am I the only one that hates the Wii controller? It doesn't do what I want it to do. It's incredibly inaccurate, I find. I think it's designed for little k1ds and casual gamers, not hardcore gamers.

Bioshock was better than Halo 3. It was innovative and just beautiful to watch. I hope the sequel lives up to the original, but you never know. I think the most disappointing thing is that Madden has a monopoly on football. I though the 2k Football series was far superior to Madden, but EA bought a monopoly and continue to make uninspired football games that I don't play. And as for Final Fantasy XIII, I hope it's worth the wait and as good as the FF games on PS1.

First-person shooters give me motion sickness! So I enjoy all the Mario games, Super Mario Galaxy in particular. Galaxy is all about gravity, so even though I am platforming upside-down, it doesn't make me motion sick! Strange..

FPS used to make me sick to my stomach, but the newer ones don't for some reason. Maybe the fact that the backgrounds were all the same in older games, with narrow corridors and odd camera movements.

I haven't tried any of the recent FPS's, maybe I should? I remember playing Medal of Honor and that put me off that genre as it made me ill.

I have read comments that early Call of Duty games made some people feel ill, but I haven't heard about the Modern Warfare games. I'll have to investigate.

The Halo games have wide, expansive environments and are less likely to make you motion sick. FPS with narrow corridors are the ones most likely to make you motion sick. I find playing FPS on the computer makes me more motion sick than playing on a gaming console. Maybe it's the fact I'm 18 inches from the screen instead of 6 feet away.

Fallout 3 PS3 for me too. Like Oblivion, still wandering around and new places eachtime. Looking forward to playing the 'game of the year' edition in October with the downloadable extra missions and extra upgrading hopefully. New Fallout game next year? set in Vegas...

Infamous is pretty good too.

bioshock II and hopefully a half decent Silent Hill game before long..

I wish they would combine the best elements of Silent Hill and Resident Evil, and then you would have a great game. The creepiness and eerie environments and creatures of Silent Hill (along with the inventory system that's not so frustrating), along with the action and pacing of Resident Evil. Resident Evil isn't scary and the last few Silent Hills have been boring.
