I downloaded the new UFC game demo for 360 and I was surprised at how much fun it is to beat Chuck Liddell senseless. The character models were superb, and it's a decent fighter. I may buy it or rent it. Something about pounding a helpless man on the ground is fun (and disturbing). I'm not a big MMA fan (since it's too much about sweaty, half naked men rolling around on the floor), but this game looks pretty good.

Hi there! newbie here Smile
I'm playing games on PC. Some of my favorite games are Fallout 3 and Oblivion because we can modified the game. That's the fun part. For example, we can make the girls naked Embarassed

there are quite a few games that have been announced that I'm really looking forward to:

Tekken 6
God of War III
Mass Effect 2
New Super Mario Bros Wii
Diablo III
Assassin's Creed 2

I'm sure I'm forgetting something too.

They announced Diablo 3 awhile back. I can't wait for it. Although, I do consider WoW to be a Diablo 3 of sorts.

I never got into WoW, not an mmo fan, but I can see the influence on the Diablo III stuff they've posted.

God of War III is one of the few PS3 games that looks good. For me, the Xbox360 has the better library of games.

yea, I tend to only use my PS3 as a blu-ray player/media hub nowadays.

I am actually enjoying NCAA 10 for the PS3, although I agree that the Madden franchise has gotten really complacent with no competition. The last installment of the 2K series might still be the best football game ever made.

I'm not using my Wii as much as I thought I would...they apparently have a device that will fix the inaccuracy of the controller, but I'll be damned if I'm going to pay $50 for something they should have gotten right on the original model.

it's $50 if you get another controller with it, the add-on by itself should be $20, which is still a bit much for something that should've been built-in but still...

It still amazes me that you're allowed to rip a person apart in a video game, but nudity is still a bit taboo. Cursing, drug use and brutal sadistic violence is okay but heaven forbid if you show a nipple. I think it's due to the fact that some old farts still think that video games are only played by people under the age of 18.

that's probably a large part of it, people running the ratings board have trouble admitting that the video game audience has matured.

you see the same kind of thing in the rest of the entertainment industry too, you can show people getting shot down, blown up and other wise brutally murdered and get in under an 'R' rating, but you show nudity it's almost guaranteed to be 'R' or up, at least here in the US.

Gotta love that American 'morality!' Boobies are bad, blood is good! (Bloody boobies will be judged on a case-by-case basis.)
