I am saddened. I saw one of his concerts in Hawaii in 97. Truly one of the great entertainers. He is a great loss.

I won't risk being banned by saying what I really think of him...

But I won't lose any sleep over him being gone.

I'm sure it was along the lines of young boys now being able to sleep easy at night Wink

Is shocking news for sure. Thanks Esteban for the info.

Farrah & Ed McMahon will be missed by me however.

It's a shame he will be known mostly for being a freak show instead of being a great pop star. Whatever you think of him, in the early 80's he was ginormous. The biggest pop star ever, perhaps. Watching his old videos, I remember why I liked him 20 years ago.

In the early 80s he had Quincy Jones hovering over him which sort of tells where the memorable music was coming from.

If you thought he was a freak by the time he hit 50 imagine what he might've been like if he got to 60 or 70 or more.

He probably hasn't eaten very well over the years and now that went gone back to rehersing for a new set of live shows which would have to include a lot of very strenuous dancing it was probably just too much for his heart. He was soon to be 51 trying to do a physical activity that would be a major workout for someone in their early 20s. Something was likely to give and it did.

That's truly sad news, though.

I've just heard about it on the radio when I woke up today
and couldn't really believe it.

No matter what got told about his addiction to little boys
- what never could be proved, okay - I liked his music
very much, espacially his albums "Thriller", "Bad" and
"Dangerous". Everything after those albums wasn't
really my taste but anyway...each to his own.
I remember the time when I was a little boy and me
and my friends always tried to copy that moonwalk
or when I saw the music-clip "JAM" with Michael Jordan
which motivated me much when I played B-ball with
my homiez on our block, good memories.
Yes, he was really someone special and I'll keep
him always in a good memory. I still listen to some
tracks of him these days like "Billie jean", "Who is it",
"In a closet", "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin", "Jam",
"Don't stop till you get enough", "Why you wanna trip
on me", "Beat it" or "Thriller"...Oh boy, there were
so many great hits which I personally like much.

Well, I don't care much about what gets told about
him because I know he was a nice and good person
who never really hurted anyone. Only thing what I
never understood is why he wanted to be white?
Maybe he just wanted to be accepted by the society
and at this point I've gotta say that it's a tragedy
and a shame what racism can make outta people...

About his suddenly disappearance of us;
he has planed to make a concert very soon and
he trained very hard for it as he wasn't the fittest
anymore. We all know the circumstances about
his health and I personally think that he trained
too hard until his heart wasn't able to take the
efforts anymore. He didn't want to dissapoint
his fans and this costed him finally his life.

To come to an end;
I'll still listen to his music and once I hear the
word "POP", I'll remember famous michael,
a non-replaceable pop-legend.
A legend like "Bruce Lee" when it comes
to kung-fu or a legend like "Elvis Presley"
when it comes to rock. You better recognize!

Michael, I hope you'll find the peace and love
wherever you're now which this world wasn't
able to give you.
You won't be forgotten round here!

Rest in peace

Not to speak ill of the dead, agree Jackson was a fantastic 'entertainer' not a song writer. Kudos goes to Quincy Jones/CBS records camp for getting together with song writers who propelled Jackson to his fame.

Back in the mid/late 80s I attended his concert at the Aintree (racecourse) in Liverpool UK. He never said 'Hi' to all his fans who had been en place four hours before. He never thanked them for attending at the end of the concert. He lost respect in my eyes on that day.

$$$$$$ That's all he cared for.

I wasn't surprised. It was well known that he had serious drug problems that were contributing to his declining health and he didn't allow anyone with the courage to try to stop him to get anywhere near him.

What it didn't take long for is the friends, family and employees to start all kinds of dumb rumours.....

It would be a terrible crime if Mikey just happened to accidently die and the press couldn't go nuts... first Heath, then Carridine, now.... sometimes people screw up their meds or their neck2balls rope.

Me, too....honestly....who not? Razz

I also never say hi and thanks to all the people who
download the porn which I upload so did I lose the
respect of yours as well? If's so, I couldn't care less.

Generally;
What da hell do all expect of michael jackson? He was
also just a human like you and me. We all got our
mistakes and I'm sure you have some, too. Does
being a good entertainer mean that you have to be
perfect now?

And the damn media...once you try to be a good person
then they just keep on searching for shit you've done in
your life....looking for every possible mistake you have
made but in reality these cowards ain't really better on
their own.

I really wish you all that you'll become this famous like
micheal someday and then I would be curious how you
would handle all the rumours which get told behind your
rich ass.
But let's face facts, if you would die right now then nobody
would even spend lame efforts to create such a ridiculous
picture like altontowers added as attachment in his post
here to let anyone know that they don't give a fuck about
you.

And for all the ones who didn't like the king-of-pop, be
happy...he's dead now so what more do you want? Rolling Eyes

Sorry but I just can't stand it if people talk shit about
others who just died. That's cheap.
