And I actually think that the lakers are the big favourite to win the championship this year, hornets are up there too but i think they lack a little experience.
Detroit made a big deal this week, don't know how that is gonna turn out but it will be interesting to watch a couple of their games, never been a big pistons fan tho.
Imo Cleveland will go pretty deep in the playoffs too.
I would be that Laker fan.
Tonight was a good test for the Lakers and really was their first of the season. You could tell they were a little rusty coming out after only playing one game in the past 7 days. The next week should be interesting as they play the at Dallas, at New Orleans and against Detroit for their next 3 games.
IMO, Ariza was the MVP of the game. He really changed the momentum of the game with his defensive presence and intensity in the 2nd quarter. Gasol started out really slow, but overall had a very nice game, Kobe did his thing, Bynum kept pace with Yao, Farmar did great coming off the bench, etc. The Lakers dominated the 2nd half.
Through 5 games the Lakers have looked dominant in just about every one of them and they lead the league in offense and defense so far. I'm very excited to see how the season plays out.
