I didnt enjoy any Batman movie until they completely renovated the character with Batman Begins. All others were rediculous, higher budget remakes of the old TV series, IMO. Although, I didnt mind Michelle Pfeiffer in a catsuit. I could stand Clooney much more than Nicholson, who must have gotten some tips from Jim Carey on how to destroy a film entirely. Lets hope they wait a long while before adding a Robin or Batgirl. Chris Odonnel.. the worst actor EVER.

You could stand Clooney? Are you insane?! Wow. I think Catwoman is a good character if you don't make her a dominatrix slut like the horrific movie. If you get into her psychology as to why she steals, I think you could make Catwoman an awesome character instead of a porn fantasy gone wrong (or very right). The Joker is a silly character, if you think about it, but they made him interesting and three dimensional for the Dark Knight. The only character that can't appear is Robin. Robin sucks, and everyone knows it.

Comparing Clooney's Batman to Nicholson's Joker, Yeah! Jack's way over the top performance was far worse than Clooney's.

Everyone has actors/actresses they cant stand. Richard Dryfus is one I cant tolerate no matter how hard I try so, I understand your lack of tolerance to "bobblehead" Clooney.

Lets hope they do a better job of Catwoman next time. All the bullshit attitude killed the last one for me.

It will be interesting which villain they'll choose for the next Batman. I'm also curious how many sequels Christian Bale will be willing to do.

If Christopher Nolan keeps making them, then Bale will stay on board, I think. I wonder how they will get out of the corner they backed themselves into at the end of the Dark Knight? Batman is a fugitive and how can he prove his innocence without exposing Two-Face? Batman is a great franchise, if it's treated properly. Just look at Superman Returns on how it can all go horribly wrong. Bad casting, bad plot, bad dialogue...

Christopher Nolan has stated he will never use Robin. His take is to make a Batman series that is as realistic as possible.

Batman is one of the greatest comic book characters ever, and Robin is one of the worst. I think Batgirl could work in a Batman film (so long as it isn't Alicia what's her face), but Robin... Never.

"This is why Superman works alone". The only memorable part from "Batman and Robin". Batman is the Dark Knight, lonely, brooding, and with a snot-nosed punk kid at his side? It doesn't fit together. Batman needs to be alone to work properly as a film. Maybe Christoper Nolan should take a crack at Superman. I'm dying for a good Superman movie, but the prospects don't look good.

Disappointed? How could you possibly be disappointed? Unless you were hoping for a Secretary type scene between Christian Bale and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

The Dark Knight was the only one of the serie which can be seen from people 9+ years old
all the others so that spiderman and superman series are for 8- years old
if you like them you must search it with a doctor

The only thing that could have been improved upon IMO.
Not a big fan but I've seen the movie six times? maybe seven.
Whatever it is, I will be watching it again quite soon.

I agree about Maggie. I actually prefer Katie Holmes, but at least she got blown up.

I love this movie.

I saw it at the midnight release when it hit theaters, I wanted to go see it at the IMAX but the closest theater for that is about an hour and a half away and so I couldn't convince anyone else to go with me.
