Look on it as an exploration of nihilism.

Next film... Johnny Depp as The Riddler!

I liked Jim Carry as the Riddler so having Johnny depp just doesn't seem right. Like having that guy in dark night when Tommy Lee was a porfect two face.

I have to agree with you here that Jim Carrey is and will be untouchable as The Riddler and Tommy Lee Jones as two face. The new guys are ok but still i like the old crew when it comes to these 2 characters

Dark Knight was a really good movie, but for me only because of Heath Ledger. To me he made the movie.

Well in many ways you've seen one batman movie you've seen them all but he did make the move. I like when he was dressed up in the nurses outfit that was funny.

Great movie. I thought Ledger and Eckhart stole the scenes they were in.

i dunno wats all this hype abt the dark knight. i mean all rite late mr ledger was too good in the movie. but u have to agree to the fact that "batman begins" was much better than this.in fact it was awarded as the best prequel.

I loved the film but would have liked to have seen Crispin Glover in one of these films in some compacity.

I also liked Iron man but don't agree with Downey Jr. saying F**K DC Comics! He is probably upset that TDK took over the top spot over the summer.

Personally, I had wanted Crispin Glover for the Joker when I first heard who the villains were. I could stand to see Crispin Glover as the Riddler, though. That would be fun.

I liked the film. It was good they didn't try and waste time trying to explain how the joker came about and he was a fully form character from the word go. I thought Ledger was great and I can understand why there is oscar talk, he was the focus when he was on screen. I hope they only consider the performance he gave and don't get carried away with the fact he died when judging.

As for the Jack vs heath debate, I liked them both and I thought the way they both played the characters fitted with the directions both movies took.

As for Jim Carey as the Riddler he was a perfect fit for the earlier movie, but Im not sure the way he played the Riddler would fit with the direction the current movies are headed. He would have to be a bit less funny and more sinister. Not saying he couldn't do it but I think it wouldn't work if he played the riddler the same way again.
