Hello everyone!

Our forum is one of the oldest, and most certainly the best porn forums out there. We make it a point to not have ads, pop ups and any other kind of advertisement techniques. This in my opinion plays a vital role in making Forumophilia what it is.

The issue I have with Uploaded is not their massively annoying ads, slow speed and impossibility to download files for people from some countries. The line was crossed when I saw with my own eyes that they force an *.exe Malware upon their users. For me, this is totally unacceptable.

However, I also respect the members of our forums who like Uploaded and want it to stay despite this huge flaw. Therefore I believe that the most fare decision would be to place Uploaded in the list of hosts that are only allowed to be used with mirrors.
This way all the users will have a choice whether to use Uploaded or not.

If Uploading will regress further, we will most likely proceed with banning it completely.
If it will improve, we will remove the restriction.

Ban ALL file hosts, and redirect all forumophilia traffic to chaterbate.

I'm guessing that's where this is going, only a matter of time. None of the filehosts seem able to run a professional service.

Allowing it to be used only with mirrors seems like a sensible solution and in the best interests of all members. I am in the UK and can't recall ever having problems with Uploaded. I often seem to have problems with Rapidgator, though, such as it telling me I can only download one file even though I'm not downloading anything else from there (and haven't for days now).

Like Felasco says most seem to be flawed in some way, but in my experience as one gets worse, another gets better or a new one comes along, so there is always at least some file hosts around even though few are perfect.

There's a very weird thing going on here. Most people that have taken the time to actually write something and take part in the discussion seem to be all for keeping it, whereas the actual vote is massively to let it go. I must admit, despite posting on this thread four times, I've only just noticed the vote button and so voted NO.

From what I have seen all hosts have issues on free accounts. I wasn't aware this forum was there primarily for the free downloaders. If it is, then yes, uploaded should not be around, but nor should a lot of others. If you're asking people who actually are happy to pay a fee for downloading vast amounts of material, Uploaded and Keep are the vitals on this board. I truly don't see the point in just downloading one file every four or five hours, then having to wait so long to be able to again.

I agree we can't really complain about any free service, though I don't see a point in offering a free service which consistently works poorly. Case in point....

Since I posted my last post above, only a few minutes ago, I tried a free K2S download.

I did the captcha, and waited the 2 minutes, no problem.

When the two minutes were up the screen says "session timed out, reload page". Did that, got same message.

Tried another browser, got download started. It failed in the middle.

If I tried again, they would just tell me "wait X hours before downloading again". Simply too much bother.

When I try to pay for an account, which I'd be happy to do, there are always problems of one kind or another. Typically, they can't even take my money, though I'm willing to give it.

If they do succeed in taking my money, then there are still issues, such as K2S requiring me to login to a paid account over and over and over and over again, day after day after day.

When I go to chaterbate or mfc, all the naked I might want is available for free, no purchase or download hassles. I can easily record anything I want a copy of, without ever even joining.

Thus, it appears to me that over time folks are going to weary of wrestling with the chronically incompetent file hosts, and make life easier for themselves by other methods. For those willing to pay, this could be simply subscribing to a porn site for a buck a day.

I've been working online for 20 years, and have seen so MANY business models come and go. My instinct tells me filehosts are on their way out.

Someone wrote there RG k2s and others. This is all nonsense. Don't make yourself altruists! Don't pretend that you are all volunteers and do everything for free. Many members place a hundred or more posts a day and pretend bud is all for the sake of others. All you want to earn a lot! Many of allowed hosts to delay payments, don't pay or lie! It's no secret.
Many supports didn't respond to requests for assistance.
I used all the hosts in the last seven years. Uploaded - it is the only host that works adequately, pay on time, and normally refers to the users! If UL will be banned - it will be a huge mistake!

In the last 5 years i used about a dozen of file hosters.
Everyone of them tries to make and to save money as much as possible.
Because of my experience there's no file hoster you can trust, but uploaded is one of the less evil.
