Should we ban uploaded.net?

I vote "NO".


From a downloaders perspective - it has been stable, I had never paid money to them and not gotten what I should have. Unlike with many others. Got burnt by rapidshare, megaupload, oron… For the longest time I wouldn't pay for anything for longer than a month anymore (which is a bad deal, but better than paying for 2years and they close down a month later).

K2S is at least as annoying for unpaid users, they keep changing their page and download tools stop working at least once a month.

Also, and this is the most important point for me, hosters like K2S are good for porn only. I have not found much other content ever with K2S links. With uploaded I get the whole spectrum of my download needs.

Obviously, as somebody who pays for UL, I would like to have every other hoster on this site banned. Those links are somewhat useless to me. But of course it makes sense to not limit oneself to just one hoster, to not have another megaupload, oron, … desaster again.

While UL might give 20% of users a hard time, other hosters are giving another 20% of users a hard time.

Why would baned ul.to ???????

Always uploaded from there, there were no problems.

If you try to download from Uploaded, during your first try it will force an .exe file instead of the one you want actually download. File name for me was bb772d633d.wmv.exe. It does this only once I think every 24 hours.
I ran it through a scanner and it comes up as Malware. This, in my opinion is completely unacceptable.

I really don't understand this. Do people believe anyone puts a payment processor on the web for the good of the world. If any of us have spent our time and effort for our employers and then said, no no you keep the money, just glad to help. Then we can be annoyed at someone succeeding in his business.

From my point of view, uploaded has given me access to a lot of material both here and elsewhere. I do pay for the service.

I just don't understand the relevance of the clocks comment to the discussion.

Uploaded and RG have been the 2 constants in the ever-changing post-Rapidshare world. They're the only services I pay for, since they're good for everything, everywhere. And I don't choose my hosts based on the boards I frequent, I choose boards based of the poster's choice of host(s).

Try changing browser if you can't download, uploaded doesn't work for me in Chrome.

I thinks that is better that only users that download the files (free or premium) can vote in a different poll, not people that use UL or other host to post in the forum in order to not to incur an interested party, because if I only use Rapidgator to post I will vote here for the uploaded.net deletion

UL is the most stable host, their speed is preety fine and they are old and trusted.
So many hosts came n gone but it is still on.... banning ul ll be the cutting own tree with own axe!

My answer is NO. Upoaded is the best filehost I have used so far. I have tried several filehost and in my opinion no matter what filehost you use, some people will always have issues and complains about them. No filehosts are perfect for everyone! If you decide to do some thing about Uploaded.net, move it to mirrorlist instead of banning it.
