Why is evryone hating ORON lately?

I do not understand why everyone is bitching and hating oron. I go to many other boards and they all bash Oron..do not want people to use it for some reason. I do not understand what the problem is. Is there some sort of BASH A HOSTER contest going on or something?

Think of it this way. If someone is willing to mow your yard for $2, are you going to say 'no' because you don't want to pay for yard work that you can do for free? Avoiding an hour of work for $2 seems like a steal to me. And the amount of time I save by not screwing around with a free account more than makes up the money I spend on a premium account. Which is why I have premium accounts to 3 different services.

There are legitimate reasons some people dislike Oron. Some people are still upset with how oron made it's introduction here. Fair enough. But there are legitimate reasons for some people to dislike all of the other services, too. In the past, most of the hate was directed at rapidshare and it's point whores. They were the scourge of the internet despite being the main service to bring 'free' porn to people.

Then there are those purists who think people should be willing to spend their free time finding porn, uploading porn, and then posting porn and expect nothing in return. The idea that someone might be somewhat compensated for their efforts is sacrilege to them! Despite posting at least 500 gigs of stuff here, some people still feel I should post more to their liking, which means either posting larger files or reposting with a service they like more than oron. They aren't willing to spend their money to make dl easier but they have no problem expecting me to spend my time/money making it easier for them to dl!

Oops, I'm ranting now.

I can't download from Oron, it's as simple as that. A lot of people say that's because of the UK government or whatever, but it only affects Oron.

Compared to PHilesonic Oron is slooow. I've got both and FS beats it consistency in download speed.

So why do people hate Oron ? For plenty of very good reasons, well beyond the stupidity of those who just want everything for free.

Oron is the best out there and for all those who bitch about it then I am like what the other guy said....they just want everything for free and the easy way...you have to work a little in this world and pay a few pennies every once in awhile in life.
