It's been great! I'm not sure why but certain people were spared the Great RS Purge so I've been grabbing a bunch of stuff I always wanted but never had the time or patience to get before.

But I don't see RS ever getting back to their glory days. They may not be willing to pay per dl, and I'm fine with that, but they should be willing to pay per new premium account created through someone else's account. There's nothing wrong with rewarding people who generate business for you.

Well my premium accounts expired and I decided to see what it's like without an account.

Nearly impossible to download, which I'm sure is their intention. The captcha is the most difficult that I've ever seen and the times between downloads of only a few megs just keeps increasing.

Time to spend my money somewhere else. Oron sucks.

Oron is slow compared to any and every other host. They over sell capacity and are total pricks when you contact support, treating you like you don't know what you're doing.

Yes... Premium account here. It's been a tad better lately, but it's still slower than some of the other services. Don't know if I'll continue when the premium expires...

I have a premium account some of the main issues are it is a slow service e.g. 470 kbsps, there is an annoying limit (pretty hard to hit though), and I dislike having to go through 2 pages for dl's I liked RS's click on the link and it downloads.

What's the scoop with Oron this week?

I'm getting speeds of 30-60 kB/s from Oron premium while Rapidshare and Fil*sonic deliver 1000 kB/s.

Acting normal for me.

Just tried a couple of downloads and it's normal as well. For me, dl speeds are all about the same.

I'm starting to get variable speeds bunched around 50 kB/s and 500 kB/s. Have also had fil%sonic, my warrior, dip down to 50 kB/s on occasion.

Not true, I have a premium account and have for years, recently it won't work, other hosts work fine as they always have and I have premium accounts on those (RS, Netload). Oron refuses to accept that resume and other features do not work.

Oron has limits. Once you hit the limit it is 2 plus days before you can begin to download again. The others don't have these unreasonable limits.
