Why is evryone hating ORON lately?

I am a mega fan for this forum, though when I travel I use Media fire or Extra bit. both offer massive free downloads to users.

but I play by the rules so its Mega for me while at home here

Oron is like rapidshare to limited to its free users allowing only small downloads before cutting them off for hours on end, not a huge fan.

This forum is among the oldest online and most importantly one of the most private ones. Same with Oron, it is a proven service, very protective of their clients. I hope you all remember when rapidshare, hоtfile and others gave away information about their users upon first request. For me, this is unacceptable. Safety, security and privacy is are my absolute priority.

I heard some rumours about RS and their ill privacy-policy but never seen any real proof. Fortunately I didn't have any problems with that myself, even tho I used to be a heavy user at the time.
I still think most of al the stories were made up by MPAA et al to scare people, but again, I only heard rumours.

But I do remember there was a time when this forum had lots of downtime. Now, under new ownership, this forum is hosted by the best host in the world (I work there or actually, I work for them) and that's a big improvement.

Still, I'm not a fan of Oron either.
