a movie board, regulary movies!, have also no more posted RS links for the movies, now after 15 days no Rs links, is now RS the 4th hoster is the board and all movies aviable also in RS. a few boards have RS not more, but a big board told, RS have blocked all accounts from the board, and the board lost a few TENTOUSANDS euro for the RS points to change in chas, HOW STUPID IS THIS MOVIEBOARD to leave 10.000+ Euro in a virtual host and not change to payment?

RS was allowed again by GS (but it looks like it disappeared after less than half an hour)
Sorry for any inconveniences, we better check the rules on a quarterly hour basis

Although these changes are effective immediately. I agreed to give people some time to adjust and moderators will start en**** new rules from 01.08.2010.

This is not the first time a forum banned Rapidshare. One of the forums I go to used to be a solid RS until they switched to Hotfile a few months ago. There is also another forum that used to allow both RS and HF, but now it's all HF. I don't download much from RS because a lot of the files are passworded. Sometimes it becomes a pain in the ass going back to the browser history, look for where I got the download links to figure out what the password is.

We all have our own opinions but it is the forum owner's opinion that count most. Sure I got over 9000 Rapids which only means my posts will be valid for at least 8 years. (the most popular 50GB)

I agree to one reply here about the "morality deal" behind the profits for sharing. You don't think having a free account is not a profit. What about those free items they used to offer at RS? and the Amazon vouchers? I can also relate to RS latest and drastic changes, something's got to give if there is a bunch of resources being used and the profits are not there. This is their business. Sure they may lose more and end up closing; but what good is a business if youre not making profits? This is the way of the world (Capitalism at least) and theres is no Obama to bail us or RS out.

Just a piece of my thought about the changes in the Forum...

I guess there are sound financial reasons for the changes, at least for the board owners. Quite a bit more negative for the members, though.

Next, I expect I'll read I'll read that McDonalds will only serve fish sandwiches, or KFC no longer does chicken. Would make about as much sense to me.


I see many reliable posters in this thread saying "bye, see you on another board". And I've seen the stuff posted on oron in other places.

This is gonna get ugly...........

Lets just hope the return of RS as a filehost isnt 2 late.........
But at the very least good sence returned (for now)
