Congratulations Germany. They've scored 4 goals in 3 of their games so far this world cup. I don't think anyone predicted that scoreline

I would say that over the course of the tournament, Germany deserve to win the trophy. So I will support them now.

Maybe the spot where penalty kicks are taken should be moved back a few yards. That would make it a little more skill and a little less luck. Still, it is a horrible way to lose a tournament. You work so hard over all those games and it's won on a skills competition and not out on the pitch.

That's why every team with good players tries to avoid penalty kicks and make as
much goals as possible in regular play time. BTW, Germany's Podolski also missed
one penalty shoot against Serbia. It was the only game Germany was not able to
win, because of a nice spanish referee that likes to make card gifts. Razz
But finally Serbia ended up last in the group, even though they won against Germany. Rolling Eyes

Congratulations Spain! Nice game Cool

I wonder who your players of the tournament are until now. For me, it's David Villa first, with a second spot for Wesley Sneijder.
In my view, the most disappointing players are Cristiano Ronaldo and Robin van Persie, although the latter has just gotten back from a long revalidation-period, so that gives him a little extra credit. I still had very high expectations of him though.

So who are yours Smile?

I can see Brazil easily advancing, especially if they play like they did in the round of 16.

my say is

Brazil
Uruguay
Argentina (although i do think Germany will play a great game)
Spain (Paraguay doesnt have a chance)

I think Holland have a really good chance...
I think they will win!

Im phycic! Laughing

touche, Jay!

hah wow... Klose really beat the crap out of Messi, eh? what does that make for him now... 14 in his trips to the cup? he now has a chance to tie and pass Pele! thats unbelievable in my mind.

great playing in these last 2 days.

edit: Realized that it was Gerd Muller who has 14 goals, not Thomas Muller.

oops

Good question. My best players are: Villa, Klose, Honda, Gyan
Most-dissapointing: Rooney, Torres, Ronaldo

My prediction is that Spain will defeat Holland in the final, and the best player will be David Villa
