Holland winnning the cup? I don't know. They are usually one of my favorite teams, they always give a great show, but this cup they're just not playing good.

Is there a lack of good football playing this year or is it just my imagination?
Where is the "joga bonito"?
All teams seem to be focused on not recieving goals, instead of scoring them.

Yeah, there is a lack of good football playing indeed. Not too happy about that either.

And I'm not saying theyre gonna be world champion, but still, 2-1 for The Netherlands Wink..

Congratulations Holland. I thought Brazil looked good in the first half, but their confidence and calmness evaporated once Holland equalised.

Yep, ADEUS BRAZIL.

But 75% of that game looked like a Guatemala vs. Tuvalu match. Amateur mistakes, lots of fouls... both teams should be out Confused
And the field man! by half time was full of holes.

I hope Germany and Argentina give a better match tomorrow. This World Cup is about to finish and so far no one really deserves to win.

(C'mon Germany, don't let me down!)

Thanks! Smile We'll do our best. Wink

My wish for tomorrow is Spain and Germany to win. So we'll see a
return match of 2008's UEFA European Football Championship finale.

I predict:
Uruguay vs Ghana 0:1
Argentina vs Germany 2:3
Spain vs Paraguay 3:1

our team might be crap, but at least we have a world class sense of humour.......

What's the difference between Cinderella and the England football team?
Cinderella wanted to get to the ball....

Osama bin Laden has just released a new TV message to prove he is still
alive. He said that the England Team performance on Sunday was completely shit. British intelligence have dismissed the claim, stating that the message could have been recorded anytime in the last 44 years.

Robert Green - The only man to leave Africa with out catching anything ...

In a statement from broadcasting house, all future England games will now
be shown on the gay porn channel. It is thought that 11 arsεholes being
regularly shafted is too explicit for regular TV.

I can't believe we only managed a draw against a shit team we should easily have beaten......I'm ashamed to call myself Algerian.

The England team went to visit an orphanage in South Africa this morning,
"its so good to put a smile on the faces of people with no hope, constantly
struggling, and facing the impossible" said Jamal Omboto, aged 6.

Fifa have released a statement saying the fan didn't break into the
dressing room after all, but was let in by Rob Green.

What's the difference between Rob Green's spill and BP's spill?
- Robert Green has got a cap for his.

Fabio Capello was wheeling his shopping trolley across the supermarket car
park when he noticed an old lady struggling with her bags of shopping. He
stopped and asked, "Can you manage dear?" To which the old lady replied,
"No way. You got yourself into this fucking mess, don't ask me to sort it
out..."

The FA have launched an inquiry to find out how a fan found his way into
the dressing room. And another enquiry into how Aaron Lennon found his way
into the dressing room.

So sad for Ghana...
That last hand of Suarez... and the wasted penalty... damn!

Ghana sadly missed the penalty shootout. They would have been worth
to win after 120 minutes. I feel very sorry for Gyan who missed the goal in
last seconds, but the pressure was too big to write history for Africa. Sad

Suarez only saved Uruguay with hands. Such a shame. They really did not
deserved to win. Please Holland beat Uruguay next Tuesday 4:0.

I'm done with Soccer (yes, soccer and not football). Diving, horrible officiating, and games decided by rock, paper, scissors. How can you decide a tournament with penalty kicks?! They have that for international hockey as well, which is stupid (a shootout, not penalty kicks). What is it with Europeans and shootouts? I'd rather a fluky goal in a game situation than the penalty kicks which is 90% luck. Ghana deserved better than that.

I think penalties is the best way of deciding a draw. It's not luck, but skill and bravery.

That said though, Uruguay should be remembered they got through by cheating. I don't think Suarez will be going to his holidays in Ghana anytime soon.

Suarez was on the line and he did what he had to do to keep the ball out of the net......it´s not cheating, it´s part of the game....he did his job....he will miss the semi final, but that´s a price he has to pay

he will also be a hero in Uruguay right now.....
