Great to see England vs Germany next, im looking forward to this, and a nice easy game for the USA too. But then again, theyve earnt it, if England had played better theyd have had it. Italy deserved this for the miserable matches over the last years which they managed to win somehow (including the WC final four years ago) ... sorry, but i can't feel with them, they played maybe 30 minutes of good football in 3 matches and that is not enough.
On the other hand Slovakia as an underdog made it to the next round, bravo

Very surprised that Italy is out. I really hope that the USA gets to play England again, that would be quite the rematch. Germany vs England on, Sunday will make for a good way to spend the morning over here in the USA.

I think Japan's third goal was the goal of the tournament for me so far. Also who would have thought New Zealand would be unbeaten in the world cup!!

So far i think only Argentina look worthy of winning the world cup. The rest have been medocre to say the least. A lot of big wins, but all in all, its been more poor performances than heroics.

France were for me the biggest dissapointment. England havent lived up to the bill, but theyre picking up steam (they managed 10 mins at the start of the 2nd half last game).

Excited to see Japan again, they seemed a real nice team, and i like the theory of their manager that cos theyre so small they cant just sit back and defend! Now that is a message to the rest of the nations!
