couldnt believe that france game. i like a lot of individuals on the team, not the team itself...and on paper they shouldve been in contention for the cup again...

Mexico just outplayed them straight up

I think the rest of this world cup will be really exciting, just when you think one team are the favourites, they lose!

Amazing comeback by the USA today. Down 2-0 and we comeback to tie it for a final of 2-2. The tie versus England was pure luck, we played pretty good today though.

The rest of the Cup should be pretty good.

United States were robbed of that 3rd goal. that was crap...

Should've been a 3-2 victory instead of a 2-2 draw. That call by the center referee was AWFUL.

Agreed. Absolutely ridiculous call by the ref, and he has still yet to say who the foul was against.

ah i know man. FIFA regulations state that the referee must tell what the foul was when asked. He was asked, and he's been called by the team and representatives to inquire about it, but he isnt picking up/ignoring them...

FIFA regulations dont state that the referee must give an explanation of the foul, but they must say what it is, which he has not...

its all bullshit lol

It's okay, because with the result later in the day, a 0-0 draw between England and Algeria, all the U.S. has to do is beat Algeria and they move on regardless.

If they lose the game, they have zero chance of moving on.

And if they draw, they have a chance, but England would have to lose to Slovenia or draw and have a worse goal differential/goals scored than the U.S.

If their goal differential and goals scored is the same, then it goes to a coin flip. Which is the gayest thing ever.

Basically, it's win and in, lose and out for the U.S.

England don't look anything special at all, they just look consumed by pressure and too scared to take a shot or run at a defender. If they feel pressure V Algeria, what will they be like in their final match?

Been one interesting week, seems like the underdogs are shining through - totally unpredictable. Algeria was a big surprise today, thought England would had them for lunch. My hat off to Algeria, game well played.
