question for moderators

I have taken another warning and i don't understand why? I read that in my stuff there was written the name of other web forum (but only in the link) not inside the file!!

Rule number 7
Do not post, exchange by private message or include in profiles, signatures or avatars or in any other way exchange links to any other forum, blog site or Yahoo or MSN group or similarly exchange passwords to any paysite.

I had download that file from another forum and i don't change the name of the file so ONLY in The name of the file was written the link of other forum.
I had used also a link protector so the name was also hidden; i did't notice that...

Monkey D. Ruffy, when you say "No links to other boards (blogs etc.) in ANY OTHER WAY.", the news server still does not fall into those catagories. Should we assume that you are saying any source that ppl use to get their content from should not be named, posted or talked about in any way, shape or form?

Why is this so important? This is not the first time you've asked about Usenet.

We won't stop you if you say you get your content from Usenet, but you can't go into specifics. Esteban - the admin of Forumophilia - has explained why: https://www.forumophilia.com/topic14611-570.html#1137839

And I really see no point why we should discuss newsgroups, newsreaders, NZB files or how Usenet works in general. There are other places for that already. Those who are interested can google it for more information.

We're working on some rule amendments right now. Usenet is one of the things that will be covered by those.

It was posted in the Gallery section and I see it's now gone. Has it been deleted - if so why? If not then where is it? I would obviously like to know.

I see the d/l count still going up so it looks like it's either been moved to the VIP section or it's been copied to another forum.

It was in VIP. No explanation why it had been moved.
It's now back in PIC POST where I think it came from.

That mean there is a footnote with all the network sites listed.

I sure hope this means you guys are searching for a way to include usenet content/discussion, rather than to exclude it.
