Ripping movies from restricted sites is not allowed now? First time this happened to me and some of my deleted posts were segments of full length movies.

Must be tough for mods to review all past posts whenever new sites are added in the forbidden list.

We don't actively seek for old posts when a site get restricted.
It's from the date when it reached the list the moderating begins.

Would it be a violation of the rules to simply mention another site?
For example:
I saw photos of this model at www.12345.com
I wouldn't provide a link.

First of all: If you use the method above, it would be a clickable link.

If you want to mention a paysite, use code, no hotlinking, e.g.
Code:
http://www.met-art.com/

Links to blogs and/or boards are completely forbidden, both as link/pass as well as part of a download link,
e.g. rapidshare/com/files/123456789/my-blog.pr0n.com.

I have found interesting links on another site (blog or board) on the web and I would like to mention them to all. Is it a violation of the rules if I explain clearly how to find this site or these links, but without writing the full address?

Example: May I write something like this:

"Here is the address of a fantastic blog :
http://www.!t!smyblog.com/
where ! should be replaced by i"

or like this (spaces added to the correct address):

http://www. i t i s m y b l o g . c o m /

Thank you in advance for your answer!

Hm, maybe this will help:

Rule 7. Do not post, exchange by private message or include in profiles, signatures or avatars or in any other way exchange links to any other forum, blog site or Yahoo or MSN group or similarly exchange passwords to any paysite.

So the answer to both of your questions is no.

You should not name or mention links to other blogs or boards. Some specialist try to hide such links in rar-files (as url-shortcuts or inside a text-file), others are making pictures with the names of other blogs/boards and pack them in rars.
None of this is allowed.

Just let's make an example: Imagine you are a mod and therefor you have to take care that the rules are obeyed. And if you look at your post above, then you can see what link is meant (although there are spaces or other characters to cover it). If you as a mod can see or recognize the link to a blog or board, it's not allowed.

I would add that any use of a forum, blog or site as part of a filename, or password for a zip/rar, isn't allowed either.
Even if you have skipped the end .com .net .inf etc

Example: If Interestingforum.com_DescriptionOfFile.wmv is written like Interestingforum_DescriptionOfFile.wmv it's still not allowed.

The use of Forumophilia in the above samples is of course allowed.

I want to make a question to moderators: some time ago i had opened a new topic about Animals and Girls ( i had done a mistake as usual becouse i didn't ask the authorization) but Monkey said me that this type of argue is not treated in this forum... I think that this is the one of the most popular porn forum and there are a lot of different topics (lesbian, cartoon,ecc..) and i hope that in future you'll tolerate also animals and girls

1 month and 11 days ago.

First of all i have spoken only with Monkey and he said that these kind of stuff is not approve but i didn't ask to him why and if in feature there will be the possibility to change point of view. Moreover in that period SVINTO was on holiday and so the decision delaied and at the end i did't recive a full explanation. But now i kindly make a question that cames in my mind, there isn't any second intensions or i don't make it only to get you angry , zwergi.
PS: also Monkey said that in the rules there isn't written that **** is not approved

In short:

"Pornography involving sex with animals is widely illegal, even in most countries where the act itself is not explicitly outlawed."

Source:
Code:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/****philia

Therefore one of the new rules will include the total ban of this theme (only a raw version, you'll find the final one in the rules section soon):

Forumophilia is not a gay forum and therefore posting of gay materials, i.e. materials where only men are depicted, are not accepted here. Same to any form of **** (****philia). Pornography involving sex with animals is widely illegal, even in most countries where the act itself is not explicitly outlawed. Therefore every post containing any form of this content will not be tolerated. Offenders will be banned from the site.

Except girls with bears of course Wink

man! that was a tiny video.

I have a question for the moderators. I've read a couple of times now that there will be a new updated set of rules. Can we expext to see something in the way of clearing up the grey are when it comes to usenet content?

It just seems funny to me that the largest source of internet porn cannot be discussed or even mentioned here in the forums.

The usenet(news server) is in it's own catagory. It's not a website, forum, blog site etc., and it has nothing in common with Yahoo, MSN or Google "groups". It isn't a file sharing thing. There are no passwords needed for access. And there are no links to be copied and pasted in any browsers. In fact there are no links at all on the news servers. Files can only be downloaded to the persons computer who is accessing the news server. Only the names of a particular file can be shared.

Ex. Debbie Does Dallas.avi

The only other info would be the name of the newsgroup(different than google, yahoo, msn... these have nothing to do with the news server.)

I know there is the concern about illegal content, but consider this...

Any one of the users here in this forum could post something against the rules at anytime, and sometimes they do. Just because a source of material might have something that you don't want in the forums, banning the source is really, now that i think about it, well...impossible. lol.

Ppl are going to use what ever source of material they feel like at the end of the day. It's up to them what they want to post from that material. And at the very, very end of the day, we have Moderators with the power to delete inappropriate content. Just how it has always been. But controling where ppl look on the internet or on the news servers just can't be done. I'll tell you this much though, the internet in general is by far without question a larger source of material than the news server. The worries about ppl accessing inappropriate materials there would be waaaaaaaaaaay higher than on the news server. Thats just logical.

That being said, I now for a fact, and i'm sure many ppl here who know how to use the nes servers will back me up on this, that the main bulk of content found through this forum has originaly come from the usenet. The same is true for most if not all forums and blogs etc.. In fact, pretty much everything on the internet goes through the news server first. At least as far as movies, tv shows, site rips etc.

Maybe i should't say this, but i'll risk it, lol.... i'd say probably 95%+/- of the material i've posted here is from the news server. I'm not the only one, i assure you.

Code:
http:https://www.forumophilia.com/topic80412.html

This isn't the only thread i have started, but it's the largest. And there was 1 or 2 times when i posted something questionable and a moderator deleted it and very politely PM me letting me know the reason etc... Thats the "system".

I don't see how the system is going to be damaged in any way by allowing discussions of usenet subjects and dislaying newgroup names and the files in those groups. Not the links, there are no links. lol.

If we were allowed such discussions the only downside would be...well...I guess if having more content added to the forum could be considered bad, then that is the only downside i can think of.

It seems to me that perhaps, and i don't mean this in a bad way what-so-ever, but perhaps the folks in charge of the forum maybe have never had the chance to use the real news servers and might be mistaking it for the MSN, google groups, yahoo*... etc... It is a very involved process and nearly impossible to learn on your own. Someone has to walk you through it... a few times! I don't see how anyone could learn how to navigate the news server by just reading instructions on their own. So it's not a high percentage of ppl who have the knowledge to begin with.

If this is the case, i would be glad to take it upon myself to put together a detailed tutorial for any admin or mod or owner or for all. Just give me the go ahead.

But if the moderators reading this could pass it up the old foodchain i would be grateful.

* I come to this conclusion judging from the rules and the way they are worded. Usenet just isn't covered in them.
