oooh! What a nice juicy thread of steaming bile, one that I missed when it first came around.

Dionysus has got it right, very few of the posts actually belong to the poster e.g. the girl who Markus is No.1 fan of (I can't remember her name at the moment). 99.99% are leeched from somewhere else, websites, dvds etc.

Posting links found elsewhere benefits only the original poster (thinking of RS uploads etc) and of course the count here to 300, 500 etc. But then why shouldn't the poster benefit a bit (nearly said 'little' - a naughty word) from sharing a good link us?

I must admit I do like Darkstar's method though - openly saying he's been leeching. The thing is, he gets exactly the same benefit as someone who doesn't say his link comes from elsewhere. What's the difference except from telling us that the link has been found on another site?

Dionysus your always so good at well being you , screenshotI think your a women

And Jappen both of you are right I repost others work but look into my threads and you will see I give CC to if there was a name attached. I always want my work reposted so I get more rapid points to keep my free account free.

And victor1 do you post in your threads no re-posting ? It helps , I atleast would not re-post when asked not to. BTW if somone like say me for instance d/l a file and adds to it i.e. clearing up vid problems adding 100 screen caps then re-up it ,screenshot well then its my post. A simple copy and paste with out giving Credit is lame! But the only ones getting ripped off are the models screenshot And we are all here to screenshotsome porn so lets get back to doing that okscreenshot

I have to agree with the 'it all comes from somewhere'...if not you best be packing your links to your archives of records for the title (you know the number) police-goons! That said, I do prefer as close to the 'source' leeching as possible...lol lol lol Guess the one that gets me is placing our stuff from here out on the WSW... not that I don't mind sharing with most of the whole world....but there r a few places I don't like to be connected to & I wish I had some say, if ya know what I mean Wink

Their is an honour amongst thieves. Atleast the scandulous lot I call friends, understands this.

I do not believe that the original point of the topic had anything to do with the ethics of where the content truly originated. The point that struck home to me was how does someone have the right to put another person in harms way.

If I choose to assume some risk and share something with you, what gives you the right to carry it along and make the decision for me to put me at further risk. Let alone the quality of the place you deposit it, or if not you the next wretch drags it off to.

The fact that it has not occured to you astounds me. Why cant you just dld and enjoy something. If it strikes a place for you, then feel free to share it at your own personal risk. Not at the person who chose to share it with you.

My stomach turns at this, you basically are saying F that guy and all he did was to give you something for nothing. Perhaps you never thought of this or perhaps you do not care. Either way it explains why the world is the way it is today.

No regard, No sense of personal responsibility, Just as long as your on top of the shoit heap it is a good day.

I know everyone here has an opinion on the subject of link posting/stealing. Well I do to... I personally don't see a problem with it as long as somewhere in the post or thread an acknowlegement is given to the original poster. And for the most part here that is the case. Besides it saves us (me) the extra work of searching other forums for the new vids and leavs time to post and DL here. Wink Smile

Here's the deal, If some one posts the same stuff from other sites we get allot of the same stuff. If each person posts something they uploaded then we get more stuff to pick from and probably a better stuff to boot.

The way it is now it's the same from site to site and BOZO's are just trying to increase their post count. Get real!

I see both sides, but I'm a little bummed the subject was even made into a thread at all. What's the point? Running up posts? Who cares? The bottom of the line is that we are all here for the same reason. If one person decides to have a certain pride in the specific content of his or her posts, that is really cool. I, myself, aim for this, but stray at times... On the other hand, if another person(even the person you cheaply attacked, Victor)chooses to post a variety of things culled from various sources, more power to him or her, and I thank them greatly. Certainly, credit should be given, and never should there be a repost if requested, but, otherwise good for them, and for the rest of us. I've gotten as much stuff from the unfathomably prolific posters, as I have from the more `artistic, stylized' posters. And I ain't paid a penny for any of them!

What do you care about the amount of posts you or anyone else has, Vic?It's all good! We are all benefitting equally. And the love - yes, I will say the love, I have, and I'm sure many other have, for all the posters here is a beautiful thing! Sit back, Man, get a hold of your `happiness' and blow your worries to the wind!

Peace and Love
Grimble Krumble = )~

ps...khound, what I really think many of us should start doing is creating folders with passwords, and then we can pm them to each other. The RS account people will still satisfy the need of, well, all of us, and people like yourself, me, and any others, can keep a good track of what's going on with their thread. Thereby beating the soulless leeching reposters.

Well Victor, there's gonna be duplication across all the adult boards. That's inevitable, whether it's link sharing, steeling or whatever. It's gonna happen anyway, besides it's really not ours to start with is it really.

victor1 wrote:

I don't think that's true here. I may be naive, but I don't see anyone posting to boost their post count. Unless your referring to posters like oobooloo (who's probably one of the best around here), or perhaps you mean someone like me. I have a 1000 posts. Wink Either way it doesn't matter really, we're all here to have some fun, post a little and leech a little. And if we can do it all from this forum then that's even better.

As far as I'm concerned, it's fine unless the owner or the original poster/s asks for it to stop. Then it should stop, if it doesn't then that's another story. I've had a number of vids I posted here re-posted here, I see no problem with it, but that's just me. There's so much posted here it's extremely difficult for everyone to keep track of what has and hasn't been posted. Even searches don't always work.

We're all human here (hopefully Laughing), everyone makes mistakes. But lately every thread seems to be an invitation for controversy. victor, you know you're self, that this is a great place, with great content and great posters, or you wouldn't be here. Am I right? Cool

victor, I respect you and you're opinion, but how about we put the old controversy mill to bed and go back to leeching and downloading with a little fun on the side. Wink Cool Smile Sound good.... Cool Besides no one here wants to make Grimble cry, at least I don't. Laughing Wink

Have fun all and enjoy...

Honestly, Since I quit posting back in January I have watched things here continue to go further south. When I stopped Things where getting bad. People not saying thank you. People cross posting crap from other sites. This is WHY I stopped comming here. I havn't been here much since then. Now I am saying why I havn't been here.

If the only reason you all come here is just for the porn, cool. But the quality has diminished. This place has changed and I don't like it.

I have been a member for a long time, allot longer than most. I do not have a huge post count because I am very content with sitting back and reading for the most part. But I had enough.

MY FILES

HERE SOME ASPECTS ABOUT YOUR FILES

EXAMPLE FROM SHAREBIGFILES*COM

Code:
DMCA Policy
Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

ShareBigFile respects the legitimate rights of copyrights owners, and has adopted an efficient notice and takedown procedure as required by the DMCA and described herein. This is a guide to copyright owners in utilizing that procedure, and also to guide users in restoring access to files that are disabled due to mistake.

Notice to Owners of Copyrighted Works

The DMCA provides a legal procedure by which you can request any Online Service Provider to disable access to a website where your copyrighted work(s) are appearing without your permission. There are two parts to the legal procedure: (1) Writing a Proper DMCA Notice, and (2) Sending the Proper DMCA Notice to ShareBigFile

How to Write a Proper DMCA Notice

A Proper DMCA Notice will notify ShareBigFile of particular facts in a document signed under penalty of perjury. We refer to this as a “Proper DMCA Notice.” To Write a Proper DMCA notice, please provide the following information:

1. Identify yourself as either:
1. The owner of a copyrighted work(s), or
2. A person “authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”
2. State your contact information, including your TRUE NAME, street address, telephone number, and email address.
3. Identify the copyrighted work that you believe is being infringed, or if a large number of works are appearing at a single website, a representative list of the works.
4. Identify the material that you claim is infringing your copyrighted work, to which you are requesting that ShareBigFile disable access over the World Wide Web.
5. Identify the location of the material on the World Wide Web by providing “information reasonably sufficient to permit ShareBigFile to locate the material.”
6. State that you have “a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agents, or the law.”
7. State that the information in the notice is accurate, under penalty of perjury.

Sign the notice with either a physical or electronic signature.

To exercise your DMCA rights, you must send your Proper DMCA Notice to the e-mail address at the bottom.

ShareBigFile will follow the procedures provided in the DCMA, which prescribed a notice and takedown procedure, subject to the user’s right to submit a Counter-notification claiming lawful use of the disabled works.

It is expected that all users of any part of the ShareBigFile system will comply with applicable copyright laws. However, if ShareBigFile is notified of claimed copyright infringement, or otherwise becomes aware of facts and circumstances from which infringement is apparent, it will respond expeditiously by removing, or disabling access to, the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity. ShareBigFile will comply with the appropriate provisions of the DMCA in the event a counter notification is received by its Us.

Pursuant to the Terms of Service Agreement you agreed to when you were permitted to become a System User, you are required to use only lawfully-acquired creative works as website content, and your website may be disabled upon receipt of notice that infringing material is appearing there. ShareBigFile also respects the legitimate interests of webmasters in utilizing media content lawfully, being permitted to present a response to claims of infringement, and obtaining timely restoration of access to a website that has been disabled due to a copyright complaint.

Your System Use privileges will also be suspended. You may protest a DMCA notice by submitting a Counter-notification as described below.

Writing and Submitting a Counter-notification

If access to your website is disabled due to operation of the ShareBigFile notice and takedown procedure described above, and you believe the takedown was improper, you must submit a Counter-notification.

Writing a Counter-notification

To Write a Proper Counter-notification, please provide the following information:

1. State that access to your website was disabled due to operation of the notice and takedown procedure.
2. Identify the material that has been removed and designate its URL prior to removal.
3. State, under penalty of perjury:
1. Your name, address, and telephone number,
2. That you “have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as result of mistake or misidentification of the material,"
3. That you “consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located."

Sending the Counter-notification

To exercise your DMCA rights, you must send your Counter-notification to the e-mail adress listed at the bottom.

ShareBigFile may, in its discretion, use all appropriate means to terminate user access to its system or network who are repeat infringers.

It is ShareBigFile's policy to accommodate and not interfere with standard technical measures it determines are reasonable under the circumstances, i.e., technical measures that are used by copyright owners to identify or protect copyrighted works.

ShareBigFile has discretion to handle non-compliant notices in whatever manner appears to be reasonable given the circumstances presented.

The submission of misleading information of any sort in a notification or counter-notification submitted to ShareBigFile voids any claim of right made by the submitting party.

Blaaa blaaa blaaa...little less talking and a little more posting. Personally, I think the forum has been rocking at it's best since January. The posters here are top notch, and you, good Victor1, are tedious and boring!
