RS Upload problem

Here's the RS Manager for XP, that should work, got it by RS itself.

I was uploading all the week with an old version of RSManager and had no problems at all.
I have these "network problems" maybe once in two months and it's annoying, but only after a upload is completed. But i don't think it's a software version problem.
Maybe it's a RS bandwith problem and since it seems that they are trying to save some money this would be an easy way

Is RS Manager a tool only for Premium members or can cheapskates like myself use it?

The RSM page isn't very clear on this issue.

I suppose uploading as a free user isn't as hard as downloading. I will reactivate my collector's account one of these days.

This may have been mentioned somewhere else and I haven't seen it but just in case it hasn't.................

Since yesterday I and a lot of RS users have had trouble uploading with the RS Uploader tool. We kept getting an "aborted" message. If you've been having this trouble the solution is:

Open the Uploader tool and Go to your preferences > then general tab. On the upload carrier tab select "TeliaSonera".

Problem solved.

It seems very off that RS haven't noticed this issue yet, as it's a few months since they changed the rules to allow 200 Mb files. Changing the source code of RSM to the new limit and recompiling should be very simple for them to do.

Others are talking about "Level3" as the only working carrier, so let's state at least that if you experience problems when uploading changing the carrier server (to whatever, depending on your location) may help.

Of course you are right, Roger Allott, it should be easy to recompile and it looks like a pathetic strategy to force user to create or buy a premium account.
