RU 1.999 doesn't accept my (correct!) login name and password ("errorneous loggin!"). At the moment the only way to upload to rs seems to be via the rs website or with rs manager. Recently I found out that there is a rs manager version working with Win XP. Didn't know this because the rapid tools webpage offers only a version for Vista.
But unlike rs uploader rs manager doesn't give the possibility to shut down the computer after the upload is finished. That's a con because I usually start my uploads late in the evening before I go to bed.

Did anybody contact the rs support about the upload problem?

(btw: Latest headline of rs News: "HappyHour for premium users". That's utter mockery! The headline should be: UnhappyWeeks for uploaders!)

I didn't contact RS yet. I'm a bit reluctant to do so. I guess they already know either by being flamed or by the sharp drop in uploads they are undoubtedly experiencing.

Rudmol, i tryed rapidmanager and it's working well.(also with win xp), you need to have .NET 2.0 Framework and microsoft installer 3.0.

As someone said, RS is changing many things (security....) so we may hope this situation is temporary...

Edit: Another thing: the upload is really slow with rapidmanager but maybe it's not because of rapidmanager....

I found Rapidmanager for XP (the new one don't work for me with .NET 2.0 Framework and microsoft installer 3.0 )

I justed tested and the upload start!

Just found out that RS has an updated version of the RS-uploader ready for download. Its version 1.99953. Log in works, upload works and the files do appear in my collectors account.
You should give it a try.
