Rapidshare = Unfair-Buisness!

lol.... that sucks really! All free-downloads are now the slowest on the net at Rapidshare!
since some days Rapidshare has new download-speeds for all free-users!!!
now you get only 25 - 50 kb downloadspeed!!! before i had always 700kb or more! Now i need for one file (100MB) more than one Hour! So i never
get my files complete, i dont like it to download 2 Days for only 1 Video lol
For me Rapidshare is dead! I don´t download rapidshare files any longer!
But the problem is 80% of all Boards (Users) use this Hoster (Rapidshare).

So i say lets boycott this *Censored-by-me* commercial Hoster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I first came here I tried to use rapidshare free.. but I've found that premium is well worth the cost.. Even with dollars value vs the euro, its still dirt cheap.. like 30cents a day.. You can't get a candy bar every day for that amount of money..

I'd say suck it up and go spend a very little amount of money for the free porn you are getting.. and while you are at it, click on some of the ads here so they can pay for the bills of this forum!

Well, I like their new format, no stupid cat letters and no 2 or 3
hour waits between files!

I have downed more RS in the last couple days than in the last six
months before the change.

If a 100mb file is taking over an hour, you need to check your end!

It is working great for me!

Free is free, I never complain about free!

I definitely agree with random888. You have to remember why you're using it in the first place. Every vid you download there saves you enough to pay for a week or more of Rapidshare. Spend the buck (Euro, Schekel, Rupee, or whatever), get the premium, and be done in no time.

all the prestige and the recognition from US (from us freeusers) from the hundreds of thousands and more users who have pushed the stats year after year for them. We the free-users have made the amazing attendance figures!!! And and for that reason..... Today Rapidshare is so effectively and so established!

Now they can say;... bye bye stats-pushed-slaves (we the free-users)
thanks to make us BIG free-users are not longer important for us!

Rapidshare is still giving away 8,000 points if you only sign up for a month. Points for downloads come a lot easier under the new system.

The premium service is worth paying for even if you never upload a file at Rapidshare. I can download a seven part movie all at once, or a dozen or more unrelated files at the same time. I understand that business is business, but the new rapidshare policy (50kb speed ) make file sharing a teasing,unfortunately most of videos have huge size, download them becomes a war...

In the future maybe better to use other file hosting/sharing services....
