Rapidshare didn't send him that message. A hacker did after he hijacked his account.

I understand what you're saying but when you have a premium account with rapidshare, in "my premium account" page, you can check a box saying "start immediately the download when it's a rapidshare.com link" So everytime I click a rapidshare link, it is handled by my download manager program and I have the choice to start the download right now or download it later.....I've never had to log in rapidshare site to download a file....
That would mean you wouldn't have to select the type of upload. It goes strait to the download page if the link is genuine. At least it does so far. Someone may figure out a way around hacking that. Selecting "premium" is what triggers the error message that leads to the hack.
I haven't tried that with Rapidshare, but I do it with Megaupload. Megaupload tells you the file size and type on the download page. I like to see how big the file is and what kind of file the download is before I download. Sometimes I don't want it.
Every now and then I have to log in even though I never logged out. It happens at Megaupload far more often. It''s as if it looses the enabling "cookie" or something like that. You just have to log in in the right place, and you should never see an error message on the attempt to download. It should simply send you to the free download page.

I reported one using the report feature in the upper right hand corner of the post.
Are the moderators timely in acting on the reports or should someone try to send them PM's if they are online?
