Maaaan, it was soooo sweet seeing Brady get hit so often! 5 sacks, and I dunno how many knock downs after passes, but his eyes were glazed by the end of the game! truly one of the best games I have ever seen. The last drive was remarkable! Just when you thought Eli was going down, he spun out and lofted a perfect pass, and the catch was beyond human. Shocked Shocked Shocked

I had to start all over again, Paulie. With my last persona I was a marked gnome...twice, all of my posts were deleted, and enough was enough. I wasn't sure if it would work, but seeing that so many people are still going to one of my dead threads, not realizing that a coupla threads above it, I am still posting, I guess me lil ploy is working! Kinda a bummer though, since my dead thread is doing better than the gnew one. Rolling Eyes Laughing I'm just a baby poster all over again! Laughing

I was really hoping for a GIANTS and CHARGERS SuperBowl.

Alas injuries to my team provided the GIANTS an oppurtunity to win the SuperBowl.

It is going to be a fun next year... congrats to the last second GIANTS

Gotta say, Cruzing, you guys really looked good, all things considered... With an injured QB, and a sidelined RB, you guys gave them a helluva game. It was really in the game against you that I saw they weren't as strong as they were during the season. I dunno `bout Tomlinson (btw, there really is only one LT, and he didn't play offense!), but I really like Rivers - fiery as hell, and confident. Next year should be interesting for you guys.

Don't know anything about what you are talking about. Wink
What I do know is that to an 8" gnome everyone must look like a giant.
But when it comes to posting even an 8" gnome could impose as a giant.

screenshotYes, and a very humbled Krumble, I am! Thanx, Fellas.screenshot A very good piece of admin'ing, if ya ask me, Master Svint's...though, I'm still not really sure what is so VIP about the VIP section! Laughing

Surely, Svinto, you are aware that there are other sports other than European Football (- futbol, to the Brasilians)? The players weigh up to about 315 pounds...sumpin' like 6000 kilos, and while there is an offense and defense, like your football, the similarities kinda end there. Laughing

Hey, Paulie, are you really a Yankee fan? (...switching to baseball now, Svint's...a game waaaay beyond European Football Wink ) Being a Jet fan, I woulda thought you'd be a Metropolitan fan... Whaddaya think about the Yanks holding onto Melky and Hughes, and letting Santana get away? I'm still up in the air about it. They were mentioning Ian Kennedy, too, which made it a deal killer. I really like, for once, that the Yanks didn't give away the future for a star player, but, man, Yohan, is the future, as well... Hughes will be a perennial 18 game winner, and I really like Melky - the way he and Robbie Cano jump up and down, and are so excited all the time is something the jaded Yanks need. Don't think melky will ever be a star, but he will break out even more this year, and pay the Yanks back for holding on to him.

We'll see... Atleast, for once, the Yanks will be an underdog this year, which is something I think they need to be.

Yes Gnomey, I most certainly am a Yankees fan. While I enjoy Football(and the Jets), it is merely a past time. I LIVE AND BREATHE YANKEE PIN STRIPES!!!!! While I agree with you that the Yankee youth are our future(Melky, Hughes, Kennedy, Joba, etc.) I know for a fact that Johan is THE BEST pitcher in baseball right now. He is 28 years old, so it's not like you're trading the farm for a washed up Randy Johnson. I believe the Yankees made a HUGE mistake not signing him, and had George still been in charge, that NEVER would have happened!!

They will regret that decision!!!!
As for this upcoming season, I honestly think we will finish 3rd in the AL East. We have not improved at all this off season, yet we lost Vizcaiano, a big part of our bullpen last year. We will not win with a rotation including a washed up Mussina, an aging Petite and 2 rookies. Wang is are only ace. THAT'S SCARY!!!

WE NEED PITCHING!!!!!

Our line-up is scary, to any team. Last year we were first in runs scored, but barely made the playoffs, and lost in the first round. I am worried Sir Gnome!!

Yeah, you are right, Paulie - 3rd place sounds about right, unfortunately...and scarily! can't remember the last time I even had a thought like that. yeah, losing Santana was/is devastating. I think Baby Steinbrenner thought that his first negotiating tactic (with ARod), might work again, or that he didn't want to add to a very bulging payroll, but either way, things don't look good. I thought it interesting that Robbie Cano favored the deal - not only that he wanted Santana, but also that his buddy, Melky, would get more playing time elsewhere. I'm not a big fan of Damon, but he keeps putting up numbers... Arod is a plague, in my mind. He may help a team get to the playoffs, but he will never carry a team through them - and he's waaay too much of a distraction.

I think it's awesome that both Gurrath and RJ follow American sports! I'm blown away by it, really. That you guys are even aware of the The Giants and what they accomplished is incredible. was it in the news in your countries?

I use to like tennis more...but kinda started losing interest about ten years ago. I'm only a little into Basketball nowadays. I was always a Celtics fan, and really last followed it when Kevin McHale was still playing. This new incarnation of celtics is amazing! A pure team effort - even beyond the Big 3. But I still don't have the passion I once had. Too much bitch slappin' type play. The legends I grew up with - Bird, Magic, etc., never acted the way the guys do nowadays... I kinda like soccer. I get a little caught up in the World Cup. I love the passion that guys like JonnyB and Werf and some other people around here have for the sport. I lived in Brasil for awhile, and I could not believe how passionate people are for it down there - they have college courses on it!

One of my favorite sports, outside of baseball is Ultimate Fighting. I will never lose a love for this sport. The amount of time and effort and dedication that these guys put into each fight is inspiring. I use to hate my fellow Long Islander, Matt Serra, but I am staring to like him alot more. He backs up his bark.

OK...time to post some p0rn! Laughing
