Before suggesting a site, check what the criterias are for making a site approved here.

http://www.imageloader.net does it allow downloading or viewing without registration?
To upload you have to register.

Remove Hidebehind from approved list, they went pay a long time ago. All images hosted by them were changed to ads.

looks like http://freeimagehosting.be/ is gone.

This too, looks bogus http://hidebehind.com/free-image-hosting.php

I've cleared out the hosting site list a little bit and removed all dead or non-allowed hosting sites so far.

I'll check the new suggestions and if some seems fine, they'll be added to the list.

filecloud closing 3-31-09..
i've used filecloud for screens for years..
can anyone suggest an alt img host similar to filecloud?
hopefully free.. can hotlink and manage your files..

works very well, never had problems, french site, no porn allowed, but if you set the pic for private use (not in the public gallery) the images live very long

works too, but is re-compressing the uploaded (also jpgs) pic again, so not the best quality if your preview is already web-optimized

I'm using the first three hosters alternatively, so that if one is down or hard to reach, you don't have a whole page without previews.
I used to upload the previews when i uploaded the vids, and with filecloud the pic still lives even if you posted it three months later. That doesn't work with these hosters anymore (imagesocket kills unused pics very fast), so that i'm now uloading the pics right before posting the vid

bigpichost is not allowed anymore, unfortunately even not for hotlinking
