You may not believe this but in many cases all that is necessary is to delete
the *.flv extension and replace it with *.avi extension. You can also try
*.mpg , *.wmv ,*.mov , and *.rm though I have not had success with
these others. I know this also works when changing the*.divx extension
to another.
