Forum is faster - Well done

Has anyone noticed that this forum just got a lot faster?
finally it's possible to really enjoy this great forum!

Yeah, much faster now! I did not visit here much the last 1-2 weeks because it was so slow. But now.. I'm back and I think we will see more postings now too! Well done!

Agreed. FOr a while it was so bad I had to stop posting because it took BEYONF forever to load the site

I noticed the better performance also, however I am having problems
posting multiple rar files now. I woner if there is a connection?

This is MUCH better. I walked away from these groups in disgust over a month ago ONLY because of the speed.

There is no excuse for the server to ever take 30 seconds to respond to a mouse click.

If this keeps up for a few more days, I will rethink my decision.

Yeah, the forum responds well now, but like Josiah wrote, now there are problems uploading rar files; lasse69 discovered that uploading a rar with a size of more than 500 Kb is not possible, but is fine with a smaller one. So, we got velocity but lose size in attachments.

Of course, maybe there is no connection at all and the problem came from a different path, I think GS must dig a little and figure out what is happening.

What about the 500 kB limit, is this a permanent change or will it be changed to accept larger files anytime soon?

This has happened b4, that the forum was slowed down to a crawl, and then speeded up again after a memory upgrade. After that speedup, the forum has slowed down yet another time, and now it is back up to speed, lets hope it keeps up

yes - faster... but the minimum 500K rar limit really needs attention
