I use flashget to download from RS and directly the file is queued, I edit the comment field (usually has the name of the server) and replace it with the password. To do this, right click on the file as it's queued (or downloading) and then select 'Comment'. Paste your password in and so long as the file remains in the flashget program you can retrieve the password.
