whilst I'm all for free Internet the best money I spend every month is on a rapidshare subscription. It just cuts all this crap and I get more porn than I can cope with. Just my USD.02

Tuesday I downloaded over 3 gigs of porn from Rapidshare links on this forum.

I've had a different problem with RapidShare...

I have a membership and every now and then when I click a link I get nothing but a page filling with funky characters...
as luck would have it...I can't find a link that does this to me now...
but does anyone have a possible solution?

Hi FungusClump I think I can help you out here.
When the page gives funny signes, check the url it will read something like this
http://rs67l32.rapidshare.com/files/23419042/SGSGc.rar
If you erase rs67l32. and hit return it will work.

I don’t know what Rapidshare is so concerned about to begin with. It’s not like every other person in the world has a screen reader in there pocket, and even if they did so what.

I wasn’t happy at all when the new fonts began. 20/20 vision but you need to be a friggen psychic to interpret what they want you to enter sometimes. They even shut me out for an hour once because I had entered to many incorrect keys.

It would be nice to see some (not all) more people upload to http://www.megarotic.com/?d=
So that people have something to download while WAITING…

If you're going to spend a lot of time here, do yourself a favor and buy a premium RS membership. Just do a month and check it out ... trust me, you'll be happy you did.

And, as you may or may not know, its not only this forum that uses RS so much.

And, you can upload things, share here or elsewhere, get points, and never have to pay for another month. Or, don't share, but for the price of your membership (cheap) you can more free pRon than you can ever use, if you want and have the space on your H/D or disks.

There are so many hardcore RS users and contributors here who get so many points to maintain their membership -- I sincerely doubt you or anyone else will entice them to switch.

I guess I'm something of an anomaly in that I've never actually had a problem with the captchas on RS. I think maybe once i had some kind of issue with it, maybe? Sometimes the fonts are a bit hard to read, but nothing that's a show stopper.

The waiting period kind of sucks, but really, i get everything i want eventually, so it all works out.
