Please, how do I transfer my .de account to .com?

In the past I have not received any replies to my email to RS.

Here is a copy of a mail i received in reply to my query to them.

If you are going to change i would suggest you do it just before you are due to renew. when i opened my account it swapped my points total at the time but i don't know what is happening with the 200 d/l points that i have receievd on .de since then. Have sent 5 different emails trying to find out if .de will continue and whether they will be accepting uploads in the future or whether they are phasing it out in favour of .com. If anyone can shed any light on this please do.

Strange though how they have the SAME logo AND the SAME upload servernames.....

If/when I get over my anger I'll have to get an RS.com account too.
It is going to be sad if we have to open accounts with 4 or 10 servers.

rs.de rs.com mega sexupload etc.

I can only hope we come to an agreement as to which site to support.

Another reply received. still not answered whether my account with .com will let me d/load from .de as a premium user or vice versa

ANd...this will mean that if you join .com as a new premium member so you can upload your files and collect points to get extended membership...then you can only download .de files as a free account...unless you get automatin extension 'cos you have enough points.

I think they have too many premium at .de that get free extension every month...like me....! and this is a way of getting more cash.

OR will .de allow uploads when the non downloaded files are removed and free up space....I doubt it....

I received the same email reply from RapidShare.de when I questioned what the difference was between RapidShare.com and de. Two different sites but same logo? Sounds like a scam and hosejob. When my time is up with the de. site, I won't renew.

Yeah, it doesn't sound good. There are tons of .de links on the web but now all the new stuff is going on .com. So it looks like people will be **** to have 2 premium accounts if they want to easily download old and new stuff from Rapidshare. It feels like a shake-down operation.

its deffo a weird one.. im still seeing files being uploaded to rapidshare.de but im seeing a lot more of the new stuff going to .com or providers ive never heard of..

Im mean come on, youve got subscribers, youve got cashflow coming in, how hard is it to setup a few more tb servers, or start wiping off old material??

keep this post updated with any news, a lot of subscribers are waiting to see the outcome before deciding to renew..

One good thing at the moment is that practically every d/l on .com gives a premium point,the ratio is much better than on .de. Obviously this will change in the next few months but in 1 week i've had 8161 d/loads and received 6503 premium points 80%, not even 50% on .de.

There could be any number of reasons why they did things this way, maybe some of the guys at .de didn't want to invest more money so they've gone their seperate ways, maybe they just wanted to screw a few more bucks, who knows. Well actually i'm sure loads of people know they're just not telling us yet.

ok my .de account has expired, got the popup to renew it... thought what he hell im getting .com downloads anyway.. renewed it, then it bounced to the .com site...

Basically my .com is running fine, got a good few prem points but my .de account is now dead, i cannot dl .de files as a member. its asking me to renew again. so watch out, .com is obviously better at the mo, but if you renew on .com you will not get access to .de anymore..

ps the link said "your rapidshare.de account has expired, click to renew. When i did, it took me to the paypal etc all tagged as .de but renewed on .com???)..
