Internet Porn Collections

I'm ashamed to say that I'm now nearing the 1Tb mark. I'm also ashamed to say that my collecting now borders on obsessive level. I'm a pR0n hoarder. I can't bring myself to delete anything. I'll download something huge, look at it once, then never return to it. My picture collection must contain well over 5000 sets and close to 1000 videos.

Funny thing is I don't look at the porn to get sexual stimulation. I have a fulfilling sex life with my GF (who I think has a bod equal to 90% of the girls posted here). She doesn't know about the porn though .

60gb for me, though I like to keep my HD fairly clean so I'll run through the movies & pics to weed out the ones I no longer care for. Funny too - some girls that I thought were hot & smokin' a year or more ago are no longer, some are even far from that.

Logistically, I have too much, waaaaay too much. I think I have the whole pr0n internet at least twice.

I have found no cataloging software that works well with very large collections. I have tried and tried and tried. Many do well with under 1 TB, after that they pretty much all die. If the software thumbnails the collection, the database is enormous and takes forever to do even with new multi-threaded processors and gigs of RAM. If you want to add your comments to all of the cataloged photos/movies, you will be investing a lot of your time doing so. When the database crashes unrecoverably after you've spent all that time, suffice it to say you will consider it a bad day. When that happens multiple times on multiple platforms with multiple software solutions, you will then give up trying to catalog everything because you don't want to spend tens of thousands of dollars to buy a top-end solution.

What have I got? Way too much. Like many others, I guess, I save stuff I like and then never look at it again. I have a few favourites - Melissa Ashley, Tiffany Walker etc. of which I save everything I find. Much of those I never see after the first look, it's just knowing I've got more of their stuff to complete the collection of what they've done.

First few years I used Kazaa and such, collecting about 10 GB in a couple of years.
Then I discovered this forum, I met a good friend here who gave me several Rapidshare accounts. So, within six months, I filled up an 233 GB drive, a couple of DVD an a small 75 GB partition on another drive.
About 399,92 GB in total.

Just a quick look at a shelf, I see 10X25 DVD boxes of videos. (1107GB)
That plus a huge suitcase of 4 hour VHS tape copies of rented videos
during the late 80s and 90s.
Plus about 50 cds of pictures collected a few years ago from the internet.

Almost all of what I collect now comes from this forum.

All of it is un-indecked. I can't find anything almost.

ok now i know i'm truly obsessed. my collection is so far beyond anybodys here i think i need pics to prove myself. but i'm pretty sure i'm past the 3 TERAbite area on my harddrives. i have a whole lot of externals, loose ones that i jus swap with the externals whenever i need an extra fix of older downloaded porn... then i have 4 satas and 2 atas in my computer that i built. and i have burnt around 200-300 DVDs worth of random pics and videos plus many old cds i burned of pornos wayy back in the day. so i guess thats another terabite. however many of em ARE backups of my most important stuff.

btw, i'm 23 and been collecting since AOL chatrooms back in 1995. i get most my stuff from the erotica newsgroups. like ijsklontje. i think i have around a million pics if not a few hundered thousand, easy. i jus know it takes almost 2 days sometiems to do a virus check. newsgroups seems to be the easiest way of obtaining massive porn at once. i've tried everything for extended amonunts of time like p2p, mIRC, pw sharing, aol chat rooms, message boards, news groups, avs sites and whatever else i'm forgeting.

and btw, i'm on an amazing 15000/2000 connection down here in So Cal so i can get my fixes pretty fast.

Mines up around the 60gb mark (on my new comp) in only a matter of a few months. I save all my files to disk now that I've got a writer

As to what I do with them. POST THEM OF COURSE!!!!

I have about a 150 gigs spread over 3 external hard drives. I suffered (like many here only know too well) a hard drive crash about 6 or 7 months ago and lost about 90 gigs! I have learned my lesson now though... always back up.

The only way I have found to keep my collection sane (~ 10 years though lost multiple drives and backups one year ), is to be a neat freak about what I keep and sort it out. It has kept my collection in the 100GB range instead of exploding into the terabyte range. It is getting harder though as pictures and videos keep getting larger. Instead of 50KB images now everything is multiple MBs. Instead of 512KB videos now they are all in the 100s of MBs range. *sigh* At least drive sizes are keeping up. I just got a twin pair of 500GB SATA drives with a RAID-0 setup. Should be quite handy as I am out of space on my primary computer.
