These are just a few of the posts where i and others have gone into some detail including group names on how to use the news server. In one of these i even posted a download link for my favorite reader(powergrab).

Never had any problems and the posts are still there as you can see. One i believe even has a few screen shots of powergrab in action.

They have been up for some many months now. Is this a new rule? Should i go back and edit my posts? There are more than these.
