---Well, I used stooorage.com image hosting site for the jpg, and there's no links/protectors or files in the jpg. It was just a header list of video titles(txt). Useless except for just getting an idea of what videos might still be in the group. Can't do anything with the picture except read it. lol And you can't drag n drop anything, or type the text by hand into any program to download...not even a news reader. So... I'm not sure how the first part of rule 3 applies.

As far as torrents go, well, torrents are files downloaded in tiny bits directly from other peoples machines from all over the world. Classic Peer to Peer. I refuse to use torrents or any other p2p type of program. That's just asking for a virus or who knows what else. And i would never, ever suggest or even hint that somebody should use torrents. Torrents are just one big security risk. Bad news.
The newsserver that you only get access to with a paid internet account through your isp is what i'm referring to when i say "news server". But even the ones you can subscribe to for a fee have no Peer to Peer functions(torrents). The news server is like a big bulletin board/data base that you connect to for dling/upling to and from... but you are never connected to any persons personal computers as with torrents. P2p usage does not have a central data base. So torrents(p2p) really can't be placed in the same box as using the news server because no one is "sharing" any files with one anothers' machine on the news servers. They're only uploading or downloading to or from the data base(board).
***I know,
News server- it would kind of be like if Rapidshare made its databases searchable and catagorized all its' files into seperate "groups"... "TV 1970-80" and such. Ppl would constantly be uploading and downloading and searching 24/7, but all those ppl would never be connected peer to peer, they would only be connected to the database(rapidshare). Torrents(p2p) are what you would have without the database in the middle. Yikes!!! So News servers and torrents share minimal similarities if any at all, so.....
