Never thought I'd post a comment here on FF about Oron and this forum but I guess I' m wrong. Yes I bought an Oron account, just to access files from this forum. No matter where I roam or lurk this was my original home and will always have a special place in my heart until it closes.

And in case someone wants to belittle me for perhaps having a differing opinion than you, I remember this place when there were only hundreds of members, when being a Godfather was thought to be an impossiblity and seeing videos posted was a treat... thankfully hosters came a long and allowed for large files to be hosted. As much as I/we/you complain, it could be worse.

I won't debate some previous comments (true or not), because I'm not interested in fighting. Cool...

you can't expect something for nothing. just look at youtube, for the longest time it was ad free, but eventually services like that need to either charge a subscription or find enough ad revenue to at the very least not bleed money

It's not "10 posts / day". It's 10 posts per thread per day. So theoretically, you could make 1,000 posts per day. The purpose was to stop the bot spammers from taking over the board, sorta like they did over at the pink board.
