Why ORON ?

Being a good Forumophilia member, I gave ORON a try, and paid for a premium account, but their download limit is very restrictive. Am I the only one who finds this host ridiculous? I assume that there are reasons for choosing them as the Primary - anyone know and care to share?
I'm aware that many have issues with RS, but I've had no trouble with either uploading or downloading using this host - RapidShare was the main reason I chose Forumophilia as my home for sharing my content, but now, I can't download much of what I find - and I can't justify using them as my host for uploading in the future.

Again, Am I the only one frustrated with this?

There should rather be an only-5-oron-links-per-day-rule instead, in order to stop these (m)oron spammers.

there are choices, rs or mega, Personally Ive used Mega for a long time and will continue to do so, least that way people downloading my files can do so easily and not have to wait 2 hours between downloads.

Its a simple choice

--> In March 2010 RS finally blocked my account because of copyright reasons. The weeks before that I lost about 30-40 files per day. And since RS didn't warn you about that I had many VERY upset thread readers.
After the blocking of my account 50% of my files, or 500 gig were gone. Many copyright free files, too.
Then I needed to look for some alternative. I tried nearly all known hosters.
At one point I preferred DF, then it was SHMTRX.
But my decision was made basically after the technical officer from ORON (I don't know how that guy is called) made me some video to explain, how to use filezilla and use the FTP upload service. He made me some 6 minutes video with my name as a file he wanted to upload (!) and went step by step through the menu that was a bit complicated. He made that for me by the way 3 hours after I sent him some desperate "help" mail to ORON.
I am STILL waiting for some answer from the HF helpdesk...
Another thing is the most detailed real-time referral statistics and good file manager. And the 24/7 FTP upload possibility was another very important point for me. I can let my computer run literally 24/7. DF gives you only 3 hours and it takes ages to transfer the files to your account.
Only RS can compete with that. My humble opinion. And that ORON has some disadvantages for free users to download is well known.

userL301 -there is no chance to use 12GB from oron because of reasons described by me in another file.

In short:

RS is counting amount of trafic - if you start download of 5 GB, complete 100MB and cancel - you will be charged only 100MB.

At ORON you will be charged full 5GB, because oron don't counts real transfer - instead of it they take all traffic at the beginning. Every pause/resume option ends with charging you again and again for this same file.

Threads here used to be positively commended so thumbs up an down were useless but it was before some changes happened.

Personaly I am not into the Max Hardcore stuff at all and moreover I am very worried that when talking about Fetish/BDSM finding quallity erotica stuff turn to be very difficult. So how many DL do you get from FO users on your threads here? (expected you are posting unique link not available elsewhere). That could be the begining of an answer.

But hf has the habit to kill your files if they are not in use. also the file manager is 100% shit. Furthermore the hate in many boards - and hf is partly banned at the main boards I am working with. Finally the biggest board of the world has ORON as sponsor - so it was officially allowed and i decided to work 100% with oron also to save some bandwith. double uploads are damn annoying especially when your files stay up without limit at oron anyway. So I made on large announcement in all of my threads what my decision was - and everybody was fine. Because many other users - even mods - moved away from RS an MU at that time.
