Subject: With the changes at Rapidshare, are you changing hosts?
I'm doubt I'm the only one fed up with Rapidshare or the only one curious where people might be moving their files to. I just signed up for a lifetime plan with MegaUpload. Nice because you don't have to split files under a gig into chunks. And, hopefully, I won't have to worry about losing files again.
"Not going to upload on Forumophilia anymore" could mean those users are not posting anymore in general or that they are using filehosts that are not approved here.
In the second case it would be interesting to know which filehosts these users are going to use. Maybe you could extend the variety of filehosters and add also some forbidden ones.

Actually, I should have written it as not uploading for Forumophilia anymore. But it was meant to imply that they're moving to a file host that isn't approved for use on here.
I have extended my rs account for 1 year by converting my rapidpoints before June 30th and I will stay at rs for at least this time.
I have a hotfile account too because it's often used in many forums but I think I will not buy a MU account.
I used to upload to RS for Forumophilia and to Easy-share for other boards, also I have Platinum MU since 3 years keeping it for backup. Guess this is what I will be using here now
I mainly download files, as I now understand it, I no longer have unlimited downloading for one price? I must now select how much traffic I want for a set price?? In "rapids" (very confusing!!)
I really don't like this new set up, and its pissed me right off. I don't know what I'll be doing in the coming months but I'll probably be discontinuing rapidshare!!
In special, you'll need some kind of script, which copies the links to the MU-page (e.g. a "link-stealing" script, running on a webserver) This is not really easy nor convenient ...
